So I've played a major portion of the game and will return for the final verdict, but my impressions so far:
1. Physical package
-just a typical switch plastic package with a game cartridge inside. It is possible to reverse the cover to have Funky Kong as a main cover the way you do with Disgaea 5.
-This platformer game surely has a lot of good ideas and I'd say it's definitely not easy if you have slow hands like me. Most stages are fixed and scripted in a way that you must memorize patterns and you will likely need to return to the stage to get all the collectibles such as letters and jigsaw puzzles. Using both front playscreen and backgrounds all as your playground is a good idea but at the same time it tends to get messy and unfairly punishing at times especially when camera angles awkwardly change. Also, if you already played Wii U version and are intrigued because of Funky Kong mode, your experience will most likely to be the same except for the fact that Funky Kong is stronger and easier to play with than others.
Considering it is a port of a Wii u game and what the game offers, $79 is certainly on the steep side. I will return for the full review.
