Good anti pull harness

Purchased size large as my bearded collie cross old English sheep dog named Stella is 30 kg but 90 cm in the chest. This chest measurement is the upper limit for the large harness. I found this tended to be too tight on her, so after a week of trying this size of harness, I purchased the xl size. This has worked out much better for both of us. Stella, a natural herder of cats, deer and the occasional black bear, is much easier to control during our trail walks with this harness. I would recommend this harness for any dog that tends to pull.

Very similar to Easy Walk

Fits very similar to the Easy Walk by Petsafe, with the strap across the shoulders. I find this style almost impossible to fit on my Husky, so I have to return. He's got narrow shoulders and a slim chest and is very fluffy so getting it two fingers tight is very difficult. This causes the harness to rub his arm pits badly.

Otherwise the Velvet padding looked good and the harness seems like a very good quality. Also came with leash which wasn't in the original listing. The leash is very strong looking.

Chew resistant.. Really?? Hi

The design is ok, he seems comfortable.. but our 6 month old Aussie has chewed the chest strap on this while in the back seat of the car. The 1st time(he was 5 months old)! I took it to a shoemaker and had the strap repaired… this time it’s garbage.. no repairing it. Don’t waste your money on this “chew resistant“ harness.

I bought two of these because of the reviews, even though they're pretty pricey compared to others. One lasted about two months and almost completely frayed in half (no my dog didn't chew it). The other one is just starting to fray. So i contacted 2 Hounds Design to get a replacement. I got an email from Leah. She asked for a photo of the harness. I sent it to her. Four days later, still no response. I email again. She asks for my address to email me the RMA. I send it to her. Twelve days later still no response. I email again. Both Leah and Suzanne send me the RMA. I'm now expected to pay shipping to send it in for "repair". I'm not quite sure how they plan to repair a ripped nylon harness. Are they going to bust out a sewing machine? I'm also not going to pay to ship it with their track record and the fact I already sent them a picture which should be more than sufficient. So I just went and bought another harness that so far has way outshined this one.

Disappointing failure with no warning

This has been actively used for our now 11 month old Golden Retriever only in the past month and a half about 2 -3 times weekly. And initially it seemed fine, could be adjusted to a snug but comfortable looking fit and deterred his prior pulling on the leash. Problem is quite out of the blue one of the straps just split clean apart today, no gradual fraying first, and thus the whole harness basically collapsed. For less than 20 uses and only modest half hour durations each time, that does not seem like quality material to me, which is disappointing because it was recommended from a dog training website. Will try to find something more robust.

My 7 yr old Border Collie's constant pulling and lunging while on leash did not improve at all. The first day he was a little better, but the next day he totally went back to his aggressive behavior, the leash didn't phase him at all. I finally called in a professional trainer and he no longer pulls, lunges or chases!!

Good harness while they last. Have had 2 in the last 9 months break in the exact same spot, the metal sliders on the straps around the neck. Figured the first one was a fluke, but it wasn't. The metal used on these slider buckles is cheap pot metal which is extremely fragile compared to the steel used on the other metal pieces. Quality plastic would have worked better than what is being used. Would not recommend until this piece is replaced with something durable.

The harness fell apart on the first time it was used. During the walk. I called the the manufacturer and they said my dog must have chewed it. Noy possible, the harness fell apart on his abdomen area. My dog could not get to it. The manufacturer said it was a bogus claim, and that people lie so they can get a free harness. Buyer beware! True Story.

Lasted almost four days

The first three days of using this harness went great. It fit well and was comfortable for our 38 lb 5 month old lab who is a major puller. Because she is a chewer we only put the harness on before walks and took it off immediately afterwards. After the 4th day we noticed that the strap right next to the buckle had ripped almost completely through. She had not had the opportunity to chew it so it has to be a defect in workmanship. I called customer service and they told me I had to pay $12 for a replacement. I am VERY disappointed with this harness. Time to move on and try another brand.

I’ve love these harnesses and own multiple. I usually order them off of chewy but decided to go with amazon this time. Usually the harness comes with a leash that has clips on both ends to attach to the hooks at the chest and back of the harness. However when I got this one in the mail there was only the harness..? Additionally the harness had to be twisted and adjusted so it wasn’t all mangled. I’m not sure if they changed it so it only comes with the harness. If that’s the case it’s pretty dissapointing. Additionally, I recommend sizing up. I have an Aussie who is 60lbs and had a torquoise harness (and leash) but it didn’t fit. So I bought him the large and it fits but no leash.
