PROS: (1) The case is sturdy and protects the microphone well. (2) Customer service was responsive and understanding. (3) Singing karaoke is enjoyable using this microphone.
CONS: (1) The cable provided for recording was not compatible for my iPhone and so I cannot directly record, which was a huge disappointment. There are some karaoke apps out there that might record for you if you are willing to do it that way. (2) The echo button did not provide any gradual adjustment on the sliding button - just on or off. (3) No standard SD cards fit into the SD card slot, so all the features related to using a SD card were not available. (4) The “user manual” was a tiny leaflet and does not describe all the buttons and features. (5) You must point the top of the microphone directly towards the front of your mouth and have it very close, almost touching your lips, or else it won’t pick up your voice properly. (6) To use it for karaoke, a karaoke app is required and free karaoke apps are limited in their songs unless you pay for premium service.
OVERALL: The microphone worked with a karaoke app. The customer service was friendly, apologetic and tried to help but did not resolve the functions that weren’t working. Despite that some functions don’t work well or at all, it still does the main job for karaoke singing.
