Don't get if you have an iPhone
Reviewed in Canada on March 18, 2019
I'm new to VR, this is my first purchase. I was really just looking for an inexpensive Google Cardboard or View-Master compatible VR Headset so that I could use it for a recent VR Puzzle Game I got for my kid.. I have an iPhone 8, the controller is almost completely useless with an iPhone, all it can do is adjust the volume... very disappointed on this... I'm guessing this controller works awesome on Android, but it does not work very well on iPhone! The headset itself worked pretty good and seemed to be of good construction, but I'm new to VR and don't have much to compare it to, that said the iPhone uses a Scan QR code feature to lookup the headset, this headset was missing the QR code, the paper had a QR code when scanned it says it is invalid. Although I thought it was cool to see the VR Videos, I personally did not enjoy it much, mainly because the controller did not work, could not interact with environment or play games, etc. In the end, the controller did not work with iPhone and is not google cardboard or View-Master compatible, so I returned it. This should be advertised as an Android compatible headset so as to not mislead us iPhone users!
