Works, but bubblier than other brands. (I don’t use a heat gun)

I found this epoxy to work well but to have more bubbles stay inside after pouring into molds than other brands. I don’t use heat guns so I’m usually left with usually tiny bubbles in at least some molds, but works fine despite that. Cures well. Weird that you have to first use the B bottle epoxy then add the A bottle to it, but whatever works. Fun craft. Makes great artistic gifts. Pops out of molds easily without using oil.

Not working well.

I am having a terrible time with this product. I pour separate then mix 4 seperate times together each time in a new container.
I stir and stir but the mixture in the coasters or whatever i am making still has so many air bubbles and sometimes a foam like appears.
I have yet to have success with this product but will keep trying as they are big jugs.

BUYER BEWARE...this is FIBERGLASS RESIN...CANNOT be used for art projects. For newbies to resin the difference is not explained in any of the literature and this item CANNOT be returned. Expensive paperweight. My mistake as a newbie for not realizing different kinds of were different consistencies, some pourable and some as a gooey mess. Hope this review helps the next artist that might be as unknowing as I was.

PRODUCT DOESN'T WORK AS ADVERTISED, RUDE, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Product did not self level.
Product "Pulled" away from the wall, up to 3" in some areas.
Product will dent if objects are put onto it.
Product is still sticky weeks later, and has attracted dirt and bonded to it in many areas.

Mixed for 5 minutes with a helix drill mixer until there were no striations, room temp 72F, Epoxy temp 72F. Area was cleaned, sanded at 220 grit, and cleaned again.

Followed directions perfectly.

Called customer service to ask for replacement product to fix the damaged areas after sanding it down. Called customer service and got to the supposed manager. He told me i must have mixed it wrong and wouldn't believe me, despite explaining my mixing process. Asked for replacement product and was told "If you send pictures, i might be able to help bro" "But its hard to process all of this when your coming at me full bore"

I was not upset at the time, only explaining why i felt my $2000 dollar countertop job being damaged by a faulty product, warranted a $60 replacement.

I WAS however at full bore after he kept calling me "bro" and saying "i want to help but not when you interrupt me". I had never talked over the rep or interrupted him, and made a point to leave long pauses after everything he said from that point out. After he would finish talking i would respond 5-10 seconds later, as the hippocrit would then talk over me and say "I wasn't finished your talking over"

We played this game for 3 minutes before i was not able to say a single sentence. so i hung up, called my bank, and am now leaving these reviews.

Cloudy with bubbles and sickening burning odor

I saw all the great reviews so took a chance on some bigger bottles of epoxy resin here. Have used other brands of pour epoxy with clear results and no problems. But this one came out cloudy with millions of tiny bubbles despite careful stirring and using the torch on poured material. I don't know what I did different from everyone else.Also unlike other brands, this had a sickening smell and was extremely caustic to hands and eyes from it being in the air. In addition to gloves you should use eye protection and ventilation. It seems to get in the air in a way other epoxy doesn't. I won't be using the rest of this. Made us feel burned in the face and eyes. Can't return, and don't think it belongs in trash either as it's labeled toxic to aquatic life...Sorry, hate to leave such bad feedback, but it worked out terribly for me.

TURNED INTO HARD GLOP, ALMOST IMMEDIATELYUPON ADDING MY PIGMENT! It became so hot i almost couldn't hold the cup & my resin cup melted from the heat! I have NEVER had that happen before, unless I directed my heart gun at the cups. This resin is pure garbage & the company NEVER responded to my request for help, or resolution. Hate to leave bad reviews, but resin is expensive, especially when you buy it by the gallon like I do. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS CRAP.
I did my normal coaster pours & they were going to be beautiful! But, next day I unmold & every single one had hairline cracks & wobbles, from the cutting process. I saw a post that would explain this is not actual epoxy resin & that is why they had problems, too. So, if you are doing art projects, try something else. I only went to this because it was supposed to be crystal clear and less bubbles. Boy, was in wrong & almost $100 bucks lighter for the effort & ask have to buy more resin. This has set back my production, big time. I have to and all the cracks down & pour a fresh thin coat of resin over all my peices *& hope for the best. What a waste of money this was!!!!! The literature in the ad is misleading & they should have their perish pulled from Amazon, until they can make it accurate. I am not new to resin, I have tried plenty of brands, never with this result

I will never ever buy this again. We worked out butts off to make a bottle cap table bar. This epoxy is extremely thick, hard to mix and pour. Dries with thousands of tiny bubbles making it cure white not even close to clear. Completely ruined our project. What a waste of money and time. So stupid, do not buy! Im so pissed, some of the items cast in this white mess were heirlooms and keepsakes. It does also get hot once mixed. The middle of the bar cured in like an hour while the rest and other sides cured in 6 hours. We mixed and followed directions exactly as was said. DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP!

The resin part of this product is so thick, its hard to pour, it ruined my new pump and does NOT work in a pump AND IS VERY HARD TO USE! it also sets up very quickly.
The thickness causes it to be hard to get the air bubbles out. The mixture smelled horrible as well and began to heat up once mixed and melted my resin mixing cups! It also set up quickly and had a very short working time.
Its the worst resin I have used so far. I cant handle the smell and dont recommend it. Its hard to work with compared to other resins I have used.

NOT Clear; Millions of Micro Bubbles Ruined a Table

It is impossible to get the tiny bubbles out of this resin. I made the mistake of using this resin for a finish coat on a hand painted table. BIG mistake. Left a cloudy mess and ruined a very expensive table. Thinking I had perhaps poured the resin too thickly for the bubbles to escape (even after prodigious torching), I did a small test piece as shown in the photograph. Even at 1/8", this resin is full of tiny bubbles that will not torch out. I am a very experienced resin artist and have used numerous brands, so these results were not caused by mistakes in temperature, measuring, stirring, etc. I absolutely cannot recommend this resin, as "Superclear" it is definitely NOT!

UPDATE: I messaged seller, requesting a refund. Their response was essentially to blame ME for the problems with their terrible product. Amazon should ban this seller for absolute lack of customer service and for not standing behind their product!

This resin advertises that it is compatible with casting as well as table top, DO NOT waste your money or time with this mess, I’ve never had another resin bubble like this, it’s like dish soap! While you mix it there are actual bubbles that float away like a bubble bath. I mixed it completely by the instructions, temperature was ideal for resin, and out of the few things I poured ALL of them turned out with giant bubbles even after using a heat gun and a torch, nothing would get the bubbles out, will be tossing this in the trash. WASTE of money and time. The only positive thing I can say about it is that it cures extremely fast, probably the reason it has so many bubbles.
