Works, but bubblier than other brands. (I don’t use a heat gun)

I found this epoxy to work well but to have more bubbles stay inside after pouring into molds than other brands. I don’t use heat guns so I’m usually left with usually tiny bubbles in at least some molds, but works fine despite that. Cures well. Weird that you have to first use the B bottle epoxy then add the A bottle to it, but whatever works. Fun craft. Makes great artistic gifts. Pops out of molds easily without using oil.

Not working well.

I am having a terrible time with this product. I pour separate then mix 4 seperate times together each time in a new container.
I stir and stir but the mixture in the coasters or whatever i am making still has so many air bubbles and sometimes a foam like appears.
I have yet to have success with this product but will keep trying as they are big jugs.

Two time out of three failed to set

Did two pours the next day after receiving the epoxy. It set very well, hard and clean.
A week later did another pour and it stayed rubbery and is sill rubbery a week later. Did another pour yesterday, made sure I mix 1:1. Mixed thoroughly. It set but not hard. Harder than "rubbery" but still not as hard as first two pours.
I pour a thin layer on the surface, spread it and pop the bubbles with a heat gun. Inconsistency makes this epoxy worthless. I cannot trust it.

Pros : Resin is very clear , easy to mix (just warm up part A ) ; mixes with ink and glitter beautifully . Cons : i am extremely confused with time frame for this resin .. I have pieces that haven’t set yet and it’s been 7 days , but then I have pieces that almost fully set within 24 hrs .. from the same mix.. and first piece is thinner .. I had to throw away so many projects because it’s simply not setting properly. I believe this resin does not like mica powder, even when you tiny amount. Basically each time I mix it I am taking risk for piece not to set properly and become a sticky mess. It Smells.. like seriously it smells very bad ... All resins that I work with have an odor .. but this .. very strong .
Good thing you are getting a lot for your money and I will continue to experiment hoping that I’ll find secret to this resin , but I highly doubt I will repurchase it.

No good for larger epoxy jobs, like counter tops

I purchased this epoxy brand to save a few bucks. I used a different brand that was $100 bucks for a gallon but the results were beautiful after doing my kitchen counter tops and bathroom sink. This brand I wanted to do a table and a small countertop but the epoxy was uneven, and would not fill in well. For small projects it may be ok, but I would not recommend for countertops or large tables, or you will be spending a lot to time sanding it back down to start all over again.

Beware. Not for crafting

I found this product to be extremely difficult to use. First, it is not at all suitable for crafting. That's my mistake for not reading enough reviews in advance. That said, I had multiple problems using it for other applications. First, it is extremely difficult to mix and never produced a clear mix even after ample mixing time. Second, it is very very hot to the touch in the container once the chemicals mix. I had read about epoxy/resin compounds that heat up but never expected the container to be too hot to touch. Third, it dries way to fast to be useful yet remains sticky in areas for days. This may be a great product for table tops, but definitely one to avoid for crafting.

No mixing ratio in the directions

First of all I had to go online to find out that the mix ratio on this product is one to one, could not find that info anywhere in the directions. I also discovered that this product does not cover well when applying multiple thin coats. I would recommend buying more than you think you need and doing one huge flood coat. When dragging and applying this product it has a tendency to pockets in the finish, which is why you should use much more than needed even if much of it ends up running over the edge. Do not try multiple thin coats if you are looking for that perfect finish, even though that is what the directions recommend. Good luck to all trying this product, I will not be repurchasing it in the future.

Can't imagine how warm it would have to be to make this easy to use. Warmed it up before mixing, warmed the room and the object. Worked quickly, used heat gun to try to get bubbles out, thought I had them cleared out and went back to check on it and the bolt recesses/holes were all clouded up again(top coating a piece of reclaimed semi trailer floor). Several others have recommended Ecopoxy, will try that next time. This stuff may be only good for laying up fiberglass builds, certainly not for this project. The resin is really thick, too thick imo.

This epoxy is decidedly NOT clear. There was an obvious blue tint to the mix which I had hoped would fade as it hardened. It did not, the coat left a very noticeable blue color to the entire area.

You will definitely want to test this out on a scrap piece before using it. It may work OK if you're coating a dark surface, but if it is light you're gonna see blue.

Worst of all, the item is non-refundable.

The base was super thick upon arrival. I've tried using several times, even warming the container sitting in a warm pot of water, BUBBLES BUBBLES BUBBLES... millions of micro bubbles. Totally sucks. I can use the cursing agent with my preferred brands base and it works fine. Something is wrong. I bought this because I wanted larger quantities than what the brand I normally use offers.... but the "A" container is completely unusable. Do not buy.
