LOVED IT!
Super excited to wake up to the announcement of this book and the anticipation only built going forward!
Great addition to the series and handles the "timeskip" between the last book and this one very well!
Really feels like no time has gone by and I am really enjoying the Tommy chapters SUPER anxious to find how his story plays out in regards to Adrian's!

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE THIS SERIES!

The dead are gone and people are coming from all over to see and meet The Trinity especially Adrian. Everything should be good now right, but there is another heavily armed group called The Northern Valley Cooperative around, are they friend or foe? Adrian is prepared to protect the people he's gathered up during the apocalypse even if it costs him his life, hopefully it won't come to that. I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves a great tale in the horror/zombie genre

5.0 out of 5 stars Can’t wait for the next book!!

Feels like I’ve been waiting for this book my whole life! I loved Adrian’s journey so far and couldn’t wait to see where we went next.

I started this book and Adrian’s voice as written by Chris Philbrook was like coming home to family. I’d missed them all so! We re-enter the story about a year after the zombies all fell. The Bastian has been in a sort of honeymoon stage where things are going just about perfect. Crops are growing, people are happy and productive and no one has been lost since Adrian made his choice. We find that people are making pilgrimages to meet the man they have learn about in their dreams to join him, to thank him but also just to see that he’s real.

So what can possibly go wrong?

We finally meet the Northern Valley Cooperative. The things that we have learned about them paint a very bad picture, but is the picture true? Will they be friend or foe? Trust is hard to obtain in this new world, do the NVC deserve it?

While that story is being told we also meet Adrian’s younger brother, Thomas. I won’t spoil anything here, but we start back at the beginning of his tale and as a result we still get zombies! We see what he’s dealt with and his perilous journey trying to survive. I can’t wait for that full ride and am excited to see the brothers re-connect. I know that’s where we have to be heading... or at least I hope so!

Chris Philbrook does an excellent job as always writing a story that makes you laugh, cry and feel like you are reading about friends you know and love. We again get Adrian’s journal entries, but like before we get other stories. Stories that fill in blanks, that broaden the picture and paint a full landscape.

If you loved the first 8 books you will love this one too, it fits in seamlessly. If you haven’t read the first 8, what are you waiting for? This series will pull you in and keep you wanting more! However, saying that, I do believe if you were to start here you would be fine. The author does a great job of filling in the past in case you need that background.

If you like zombie tales with great characters and a story that keeps you entertained from beginning to end this is the series you want to read!

5.0 out of 5 stars Adrian Ring rules the world!

I have waited six years for a new Adrian Ring episode and I was not disappointed in this installment. This story picks up about a year after we were last with Adrian. The first part of the book gets us updated on new people, births, etc. Its been a minute since I got to laugh at Adrian's humor. Since the zombie apocalypse is over, we now get to see Adrian dealing with outside threats. Another big bonus for us old readers of the website is Thomas Ring's story is started in this book. One critique for this book is that I am used to Adrian being large and in charge. In this installment, he comes up against a superior force and he is in a very weak position. I felt it was a little out of character. Adrian is usually very tactical and here he is relying more on diplomacy. That is not bad, but he needed a serious back up, Gilbert 2.0 I hope something like that is coming, I am so glad Chris has circled back around to Adrian. I have so many unanswered questions...What about the other Ring brother? What about the other 2 trinities? What happened to Sylvia?

The is the best zombie series out there. Close behind is James Cooks' Surviving the Dead. This one is top on my scale because of Adrian's wicked humor. I literally laugh out loud and that is actually pretty hard to find in entertainment today.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dealer of Hope: AUD; Adrian's March Bk 9-Pt 1

I'm very excited to be in Adrian's world again! With Bastion thriving, the main community, and the other smaller ones can relax now that the undead, well died. When one of the settlement's is massacred and a few of the survivors make their way to Bastion, Adrian finds out that the dead may have died, but it's the living that's causing hell. They're called the NVC.
During the book, time flashes back to Adrian's brother, Thomas Ring. He is a Navy SEAL and is stuck in the middle of nowhere, with his fellow SEAL Glen. They've been watching a village for Taliban activity, but not even the alive have been moving around for a few days. Stuck with no instructions how to proceed, and since they're running out of supplies, the two decide to recon the village and gather whatever food and water is down in the village and hike on out back to the nearest est base.
What a great way to bring back Adrian and his brother. One fighting the living and one fighting the dead! 👣

I was so very excited when I saw this release. As soon as I started this book, it felt like I was home. I did not realize how much I missed these stories. Love me some adrian. This book is set after the the meeting with cassie. The zombies are gone and things are looking up. Food is growing, folks are working together. Communities are growing. Sadly, bad people still exist to hurt and abuse.
We are introduced to another Ring brother, thomas. Him and his seal partner, Glen. They are stuck in another country, surrounded by all matter of things that want to kill them.
This was a great read and I so look forward to see where Mr. Philbrook takes his characters. Glad you are back adrian.

The only exciting part of this book had to do with Adrienne‘s brother in Afghanistan. Don’t know what the title implies adrian‘s march, marching to wear? Will go on and read the next book.

I didn't even know this one had come out until it appeared in my feed. I started into it with a fair bit of concern, since it'd been so long since his last one. Less than than a chapter in, and I knew he'd picked up right where he had left off. Two nights later, and I'm back checking to see if 10 has dropped yet.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Chris, for not taking off with the Abby As A Writer for this next series. You are one helluvan author, but you ain't do for jack as a teenaged girl. LOL.

I waited a loooong time for Adrian to start writing in his journal again, and the wait was worth it. It took a few pages for me to get used to the pace of the new Adrian, but I quickly came to appreciate his new maturity, for lack of a better word. I also enjoyed getting to know his brother Thomas a bit better. Thanks, Chris Philbrook, for bringing Adrian and his extended family back to us. This AUD series has no comparison in the zombie/post apocalyptic genre.
