Nothing profound, but a good reminder
Reviewed in Canada on May 24, 2022
You could probably get through this book in one good sitting. Maybe two. It's a rather short story that does a decent job at keeping you invested. There is nothing about this book that I thought to be profound knowledge. I think that deep down we all know much of the lessons presented but this book acts as a solid reminder - which we ALL need from time to time. Several times throughout the book I would think to myself, "ugh, I've done that" or, "Yeah....that's me". And, when you see yourself from the outside, things like that 'hit' different.
I am no psychologist, but I feel if this book has made you angry and/or you claim to have gotten "absolutely nothing" from it (there are indeed reviews like this), it was probably written for people exactly like you. You need to take a deep breath, stop being so serious and angry and take a 3rd person view at yourself.
