Not a sequel, but worth the watch

Despite the title and the fact that Sandra Bullock's character is Danny Ocean's sister, this is not a sequel toe the three original Oceans, So take it on its own mertis: good stars, good performances by all, and an appealing heist movie. It's not in the same league as Ocean's 11, but then neither of the sequels were either, You may or may not find the chemistry between the characters or the humour to be as strong as in the y-chromosome series. No matter, this is worth watching on its own merits.

I love this movie and bought this strictly for the digital code, but buyer beware the code expired already ! I’m so annoyed.

Well, if you weren't given some of the back story would you still think this is an Oceans movie? I think so. Steven Soderbergh may have just been a producer [after directing the other Oceans movies] but his fingerprints are over this movie.
In this case an all female cast as crooks. Cate Blanchett replaces Brad Pitt, "Sandy" Bullock replaces George Clooney and the others in the cast have their own specialties. Add 2 guest appearances from the old crew and a slew of guest appearances and you have an entertaining movie.
And like any Oceans movie, there is always a little surprise.
Add around 60 minutes of extras including 2 brief scenes removed from the movie.

The acting is very good in this movie with lots of well-known actresses in it. It is very fast paced. The story is about a complicated scheme to take a diamond necklace worth $150 million at a charity event. Several characters have to work together to steal the necklace. It doesn't go exactly as planned and there are a couple of surprises. It is a fun movie to watch.

I think I love this Ocean’s movie even more than the Clooney ones just based on the cast. Bullock, Blanchett, Paulson, Carter, Rihanna, Kaling, Awkwafina and Hathaway slay in this one.
