Shoe is a tiny bit larger than expected but its not bad. They look good but kinda look like a fancy work boot (i wouldn't say these are dress boots that can be worn with nice dress pants.. these are more chino pant/jeans shoes). They feel comfy, i don't do a ton of walking in them though so i can't speak to durability/wear yet. I will say that the shoes feel durable for an inexpensive shoe... but we shall see. Mine had a very strong (gasoline-ish) unpleasant smell that lasted a couple of days after I took them out of the box. 4 stars for now seems reasonable. I'll try to remember to update this review after about a year.
Update after 10 months: The boots are still alive. I've wore them on average 2 or 3 times a week since buying them, keep in mind that i sit at a desk all day so these boots have had an easy life. I managed to only scuff/tear the fake leather in one very small spot on the toe of the boot so its not really noticeable (that shows that they can take a decent beating because I thought for sure they would be ruined after I scuffed them as hard as I did). They've certainly lost some of their rigidity, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but I can tell they don't have a whole lot of life left. 4 stars still seems reasonable for these boots. They're a decent, inexpensive boot if you just want another option to throw into the rotation once or twice a week.
Had these boots for a couple months now. Initial concerns were about the boots feeling just a little loose. I'm normally a size 12 US. Also was a little concerned about not enough support in the boots. Been wearing them not every day but at least a couple times a week (3-5 days per week) for a little while now, and my initial concerns are now gone. Shoes feel quite comfortable, they feel ever so slightly loose compared to some of my other shoes but overall, they feel great. I like that they're non-leather. Has leather shoes the past few years and I feel like these ones might last longer over time, not to mention I feel less guilty. Lastly, they look great and they're really easy to slip on and off. Great pair of boots. Very happy with the purchase.
It's risky to buy shoes online-- pics can look great but often they don't match the actual product-- plus you can't know how they feel from a picture-- well these showed up and they are absolutely stellar! They look EXACTLY like the pictures shown in the listing and they are crazy comfortable and easy to get on and off (unlike a pair of extremely expensive Chelsea Boots I have which require a shoe horn). I like these so much I might buy a second pair to put away for when these wear out -- because they will.
I walked five miles in these yesterday and they were as comfortable as my favorite pair of sneakers, and c'mon really, as a grown man should you be wearing sneakers all the time?
So man up, grow up and get a pair of the nicest boots at this price. In one day of wearing them I got multiple compliments on them too.
First of all, boots arrived as promised. Color was exactly like pictures so I am very pleased. I normally wear an 8 1/2 wide so I took a chance and did not order a size down as suggested.. Boot is a little loose with dress socks on but fits nicely with athletic sock on. I like a wide shoe and this boot is a little snug on the sides, but nothing I can't get use to. For the price, I'm pleased with the purchase.
Typical online Chinese shoe, in that PARTY has nothing to do with the shoe. Some whole other name on it. That said, the shoes I got fit great, look terrific, were comfortable right out of the box, and I have to work on my feet, standing and walking all day. I rotate different shoes everyday, so it's nice to be able to score good shoes for less than forty bucks. The crepe sole is nice; the leather seems a little thin and dry, but the Kiwi helped the dryness. I love the way they look. I have a narrow, thin foot, but I don't notice these being too wide, the way a lot of cheap shoes are.
I basically got these because I've never worn Chelsea boots before and wanted to see how I felt about wearing them before I bought a nicer pair. I paid about $20. These seem reasonably well built for fake leather and glue. Only been wearing them a couple weeks, so can't say how long they'll hold up.
