I know it's a 5400rpm mechanical drive, but it's INCREDIBLY slow, even compared to other 5400rpm drives, the seek times and transfer rates are absolutely atrocious. Used this in a PS3 and promply replaced it with another brand, performance was sub-par compared to stock 5400rpm drive. Loading took forever, and many games with streaming audio or FMVs that were installed on the drive (such as PSN downloads) would have skipping issues. This was completely resolved by using another drive.
Their compute line of drives might be okay for file storage, but even the most basic of transfers didn't meet my expectations.
