Very comfortable and Warm

Love this coat , the fit was great !
The length was perfect .
The fur inside is sooo soft !
Very warm , kept me warm even on the coldest days and was only wearing a t-shirt underneath.
I did size up one so I can have more length to the coat and a little more wiggle room in the waist allowing me to adjust the string to make it lose or tighten for a hour glass look .
The only thing I didn't like about this coat was the fur trim on the hood .
Looked really bad !!
I thought it was going to be more poofy and and nice looking like the other coats .
It literally looks matted and what you would expect fur to look like after it been through the wash which it hasn't .
I seen a previous review where they described the hood on this particular coat to look like a mangy racoon and it sure does lol
Other then that I love it !!!

The outer layer is thin, and you can tell as soon as you touch the arms of the coat. If the weather is lower than -10° I have to wear a sweater under it. When we had the cold snap before Christmas, I had 4 layers on.
It's a super nice coat, and comfy, but definitely not made for Calgary winters!

Decent coat for -30 Canadian winter

I held off reviewing until I've experienced true cold Canadian winter.. -30 before the windchill yesterday. The coat kept me warm getting to my car but I would definitely need a hoodie under it if I need to walk for more than 5 minutes. It doesn't let the wind whistle through, the fabric is fairly thick and all the buttons and zippers (they are metal) are good quality. Lots of pockets with thin fleece inside, big enough for your whole hand and phone. It has a great big hood so it does not pull your toque off your forehead, big enough to wrap a scarf around your face inside the hood and fits tight with headphones on. The zipper doesn't come up high enough to freeze to your chin (yay!) And it has a snap collar to cover your neck and chin. My only complaint is that it doesn't widen at the bottom so it is a bit tight bending to get in and out of a vehicle. If you can't afford a Canada Goose and you need to deal with -30 this is a decent option if you can layer up under it. I suspect it will not be a really warm coat when the temps drop to -40 especially if there's a wind chill on top of it but for people who don't spend a long time outside it will keep your from freezing. I'm 5'0 140lbs and size 10 works well for me with enough room to wear a sweater and t-shirt.

I really like this jacket. I got the dark green one and the colour is great. I'm not a huge fan of silver hardware - I wear more gold, but I got over it. Pockets are nice and deep so I can keep my phone, keys and cards in them and leave the purse at home. Pockets are also softly lined which make them warm. Drawstring waist helps with making it more flattering. Hood is big and warm. My only gripe is that the coat and zipper go down so low that I've actually ripped the zipper out about 4 inches at the bottom from squatting down with my kids. It's still functional though and the snaps cover that area so only i can see it.

I bought this jacket in size 8 in dark green and it was perfect. Loved the material the product in general was exactly as described and top shelf quality. I loved the jacket so much I wanted a black one as well but in size 6 because I yo yo in weight. I love this jacket because I need pockets because I prefer not carrying around my purse anymore. The second one in Black came but the flap pockets weren't actual pockets and the buttons didn't open. I also noticed that the hood didn't zip off but instead unbuttoned off. I returned that jacket thinking it was a one off and instead loved the moonless night colour in size six. Unfortunately the pockets in the front are also just for show. Also noticed that there was a small slit in the back bottom of jacket with buttons which doesn't show anywhere in the pictures. Reached out to see if there's anyway that they can get someone to confirm at the warehouse the specific types that differ and ship one out with 4 working pockets like the original one I purchased.

This coat has a very comfortable fit - I sized up so I could layer and it ended up being perfect. The zipper broke on the first day, but my mom is an avid sewer and fixed it for me. I live in northern Alberta, and this past week temperatures have dropped to -30 and colder with the wind chill: the coat has totally kept me warm, and the hood is especially great at blocking the wind. I was waffling between this coat or spending $300 on a TNA Summit coat. I'm so glad I took a chance on this coat instead! I got the off-white in size 10 and it fits so good! I'm 5'9" with broad shoulders and theres enough room for me to wear a sweater and still feel comfortable. I love the Sherpa lined, angled pockets! It's been -1 in the mornings here and I've even been able to get away with wearing a t-shirt underneath and still plenty warm.
When it arrived it was pretty wrinkly and the fur hood trim was as squished down. I put it in the dryer for about 15 min with a damp cloth and it fluffed the fur right up, but it was still wrinkley. This went away after a day of hanging up.
Only con is the ribbon ties they use for the off-white coat doesn't match, it's more yellowy than the coat colour. I'm going to change them all out for black ribbon which should class it up a bit more.
