Bon, je sais que ce n'est pas un Shure SM58, j'en suis conscient alors allons-y avec les points positifs... fabrication solide, belle finition, le format est parfait pour la manipulation, la sensibilité est acceptable. Le négatif...
Beaucoup de bruit de manipulation perceptible, l'interrupteur on/off de mauvaise qualité et fragile. Dans l'ensemble, tu paie pour ce que tu as comme on dit... En résumé, ce microphone peut servir adéquatement dans des assemblées, conférences et si vous pouvez le mettre sur un support ou pied de micro, tant mieux puisque ça évite les bruits de manipulation. Bon petit micro pas cher pour le Karaoké. Par contre je ne l'utiliserai certainement pas pour une performance "live" de band avec chanteur. Je préfère de loin le SM58 ou le Seinnheiser e835 (ces deux derniers se vendent environ 130$ au Canada)
Alors difficile de comparer un micro d'entrée de gamme à 35$ versus les autres mentionnés.

Switch stopped working after 2 weeks

While the product itself felt hardy enough for use as a talkback mic in live sound, the switch failed after only a couple of uses. Now, regardless of its position, it passes all audio. The whole reason I bought it was for the switch, so now it is useless to me.
Also, it sounds exactly like you'd expect a $33 microphone to sound. Tinny, lacking, and prone to feedback in live situations. Just weak sauce for anything approaching professional use. Wish I could return!

They say "Buy once, cry once," meaning spend the money to get something of high quality, and you'll only cry at the moment of purchase. I am a home recording hobbyist, looking for a mic to use with my Korg Pa700. Since I wouldn't be traveling, or giving the mic to someone else, or doing anything other than mounting it on a scissor stand I thought I could save some money on this guy. I have an Amazonbasics fountain pen, and it's been a nice pen, so I assumed the Amazonbasics mic would be similar. WRONG. It cuts in and out, or off and on, and it's brand new. I set up a return immediately and ordered the Shure M58. Yes, it's five times the price. But from what I have read, it will last forever. Don't be fooled by the low price - you really do get what you pay for.

I bought this microphone to record nature sounds. 10 hours in a swamp full of wildlife, and all it picked up was setting the microphone up. On top of that, the sound quality was very, very bad. In comparison, a twenty dollar lapel mic gave much better quality and picked up sounds much better. For this microphone to pick anything up you have to be right on top of it.

You have to have a lot of gain on your mic preamp and your mouth should be very close to this mic for it to pickup the sound. Being a cardoid mic, I guess that's expected but I felt that the quality is far inferior when compared to those Shure SM58 mics. But, for the price, it's OK if you are not into pro recording.
