I picked this up at the library because I'd read another book by Dr. Villoldo in the past and really liked it. I ended up reading the library copy twice in one week, so decided to buy my own copy. I wasn't really looking to make any life changes when I picked it up, but despite that I was inspired to make some changes! I haven't done the fasting, I definitely haven't done the vision quest, but I've added a few of the recommended supplements (high quality DHA each night is great!) and have adapted to a full keto diet. I also started meditating for a few minutes each day. Those 3 changes alone have given me more energy, and I feel great. I can only imagine what the full program would do, and over time I intend to find out. BTW I found this book pairs extremely well with "Stress less, accomplish more" by Emily Fletcher; her meditation method feels more grounded to me than many others I've studied. Works very well with the Grow a New Body program!
