My toddler loves this book. Almost more importantly, I think it's helping with her separation anxiety when I leave for work. The book gets a little repetitive, but that's also because toddlers like hearing the same book over and over again until their parents have the trying memorized. I also find myself getting jealous of the mom in the book who apparently didn't have to work until her daughter was 2ish.
This book is a real joy. It’s about a girl adjusting to her mom going back to work, and it provides some really clever material that a kid can understand and relate to. I love being able to tell my child that my work shoes are also my coming home shoes, and touching feet at bedtime has become a wonderful tradition.
Every working Mom should have this book and share it with their children. I loved the story for highlighting the tough transition from staying at home to returning to work and taking your children to day care/ a care provider. Great read!
