I lost my Manfrotto handheld tripod I’ve had for almost 2 years (and use multiple times a week for vlogging) and decided to pick this up since it was $10 less and I my old one might turn up. I used it today for basic vlogging around the house and I just reordered my old one and will be returning this.
It feels super flimsy/light, no stick on the bottom of the legs, and you have to unscrew it to move the ball (my other one is a button and is way more convenient). I had it sitting on my bathroom counter and it’s so light the weight of my small camera (canon g7x mark ii) made it fall over multiple times not even at super extreme angles.
If you’re just using it to hold and want something light it might work but if you’re ever using it as an actual tripod and don’t want to risk banging up an expensive camera when it falls over spend the $10 more for something that’s way more user friendly/high quality.
Acceptable but nothing more .......works with the screw-in camera connector, but the 3 legs cannot be adjusted and tightened at a fixed leg position, unlike better products. This way, you are always fighting with making your camera level, as the 3 legs position themselves at random angles, so it's virtually impossible to make your webcome level and stable, unless the legs are almost horizontal.
The tripod legs cannot carry the weight of a proper video camera. The weight of the camera pushes the legs down until they are fully stretched and stable. What I miss is a feature that allows you to lock the legs in a required position.
