Trim color doesn’t actually match

I’m not sure if they ran out of the same dark brown trim for the soul of the boot, but what I actually got was a light brown almost tan. Honestly looks kinda weird with a black boot and also doesn’t match the dark brown in the heel of the boot lol.

The shoes look nice, however they are a bit narrow. Also the finger hook is absolutely useless. I don't know how much money, probably less than $0.50, it would cost to make that ONE, TINY, INPORTANT piece of fabric useful, but it needs to be done!!! This one thing is annoying enough to aggregate me when standing and putting on the boots.

For a sub $40 shoe it seems you get what you pay for....

I was super excited to get these boots but after I wore them for a day or so I discovered they are not what I want. I typically buy my dress boots from Rockport and I can assure you these are far from that level of quality or comfort. The material is inflexible uncomfortable. I don’t miss the return window they would’ve been sent back. Go ahead and spend the extra money and get something that’s going to last you for a long time.

Really wanted to like these. The problem is the pull loops are too small to get a finger in and otherwise impossible to pull the boot on. Okay, made a hook from a bent hanger to pull them up. Nope, the pull tab ripped under gentle pressure. Bad quality. I have multiple snow boots and hiking shoes that have large enough pull loops and are sturdy as hell. Have had all those for years. Too bad, I think with a little more thought into that functionality they would have been great.

Decent Shoe For The Price

For the price, the boot was an okay first buy for a Chelsea. However, the shoe seems to lack in a few qualities, such as better arch support, closer fit in the ankle, and most importantly a good grip on the bottom of the shoe.
To clarify, the "traction" added to the bottom of the shoe is negligible at best, and could easily lead to a fall on even the most secure of footing.
Lets hope that does not happen.
