Great information for baseline learning, American edition guide

Great information and lessons for a full time working parent doing this on the side. My little one just turned 5 this week, and is enjoying the lessons and activities and looks forward to it everyday.
The guide is an American edition, being in Canada I've just replaced the American information to Canadian, like the flag, national holidays, basic history, anthem etc. The lessons are short enough to spark interest and we are able do 4 topics a day, math, science, language & arts and social studies. I do like that it includes cut outs, crafts, activities and a checklist of exactly what supplies are needed for each lesson, really helps with planning. I do wish there were more continuity in the topics and a few more crafts, but you're free to add in anything extra.

This provides a good baseline for a child who is already familiar with numbers and letters or has had preschool prior. Definitely helps prepare your little one for kindergarten given preschools are limited or closed due to Covid.

Its difficult to review this properly but i want to be fair to the author. Book seems great and a good learning package for my toddlers so 5 stars.
My complaint is with amazon quality control and the A#####e who bought it before me. To those i would give -stars if i could.
Bought book as 'Like new' from amazon warehouse. However whole chapters have been cut out. Its not usable. Shame on the person who took what they wanted and returned it.

When this book first arrived, I thought it was great and I was going to enjoy using this book. The more I use it though, I find it frustrating because some of the activities require things I don't have. The appendix work pages are difficult to cut from the book. You pretty much need a box cutter and a cutting board to get them out. I think if this book was in a ring binder, it would improve the presentation.

Just flipping through the book I see so many outstanding activities that I did not find on Pinterest. I was nervous about purchasing this book because I was aware of the activity worksheets in the back. I wanted to use this book for multiple children. So I bought the book under the impression it would be a one time use, however in the front of the book she gives you a link to print more of the sheets!!! It’s everything I wanted and more! I will also be purchasing her first grade addition as well! These books have really eased my anxiety. Ha

I recently purchased this book for a college course I’m taking. All students purchased this book and another book. Let me tell you if you are new to Lesson planning and new to adding in a subject area or not know where to even begin.. This book will be for you.. It clearly explains in detail how each lesson activity will help children, what they will learn and how to approach the child when teaching each activity. There’s so much topics it goes with common core standards as well.. It also has a work sheet In the end of the book (Appendix) with the exact page to use an activity with. They have been a tremendous help. I believe any teacher working from Preschool to 1st grad this will benefit you. Again it breaks it down so clearly. I have been hearing that the majority of the class and from my other classes that I am taking, have been asking where we purchased our books. This is a resource for guided activities. This is not a work book-I repeat, NOT a workbook. That said, this is an excellent resource for activities to with your preschooler. That said, I would recommend, but I would not describe these as low prep (as the author does) unless you are already stocked up on art supplies and have a copy machine at home (granted the pages in the appendix could be removed and used.)
