To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
The envelope it is placed in means that it becomes folded and bent when placed in a regular sized mailbox found across the county. Otherwise, the book/illustration is lovely but difficult to give as a gift when it arrives in such shabby condition.
Mateo (son) was not happy it was raining on Saturday. Papa made some suggestions to him. His mother was tuning her guitar. Mateo made a list of stuff he was not allowed to do.
Did he solve his problem & find something fun/exciting to do?

An awesome book cover, great hand-drawn colored pictures, charming illustrations & proper font & writing style. A very professionally written children’s (preschool/elementary age) storybook. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s movie, educational presentation (happiness, well-being) an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini-TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an extremely easy rating of 5 stars.

It's Saturday, and it's raining, which means Mateo is stuck inside with nothing to do. Feeling bored, he throws a tantrum until a bird outside catches his attention and sparks an idea that has him forgetting about everything that's wrong about his day and finding joy in the little things around the house, things he often takes for granted.
While reading this book, that famous Ferris Bueller line popped into my head: "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." This line summed up this book for me. You start to appreciate the things we all take for granted. Sometimes the smallest and most mediocre event can brighten your day.
I loved the illustrations and the cultural elements used to represent Mateo's background. This was a fun read. Sometimes you just have to appreciate the little things in life.
My 5 year old looooves to exclaim that anything that isn’t the exact thing he wants at that exact moment is a momentous BORE! This is a great story to remind him of the wonder that exists around us all the time... Thank YOU!
