Gentle but effective cleanser. I have combination skin with dryer skin on my cheeks and oilier skin on my nose and forehead. This face wash cleans the oil effectively without stripping my dryer skin. Leaves my skin feeling refreshed and clean.
I found my face turns out to be very dry after using this face wash, not sure whether it's just for my skin. Also, I don't see it works too much on my face because my backheads are still there after using it many times.
The L'Oreal Paris Men Expert Face Scrub, Pure Charcoal Anti-blackhead Scrub With Oak Charcoal (the new fad charcoal in everything including ice cream) works as a face scrub by the fact you are using it. Thus truly nothing special apart from the fact the suds are black and has micro-beads in it. Isn't micro-beads been banned as they do not dissolve properly and end up in our drinking water and oceans? Any how the scrub's scent is pleasant and nothing harsh on the skin and works as a cleanser, but so is soap and water, they both have the same effect.
There's a new formula that just came out, and it burns my face, specially around the eyes. It feels like you rubbed peppermint all over your face. The old formula was much better. I don't know about anti-blackhead, but it definitely remove all the oil from your face, and you can hear your skin squeaking when you rub your finger. The scent is bold and lousy as most men's product. I wish they would tone-down or make those product unscented. After the shower, you have the scent of your shampoo, face scrub, deodorant and soap competing with each other.
