Que du positif à dire à propos de cet appareil. La version wifi fonctionne très bien et les commandes répondent rapidement. Au niveau le plus bas il est très silencieux et peut-être utilisé sans soucis dans une chambre à coucher la nuit. Je me réveille moins congestionné le matin :) Seul petit hic, la livraison a prit un mois ce qui est plutôt rare avec Amazon.

first, i love the air purifier itself. it's quiet (unless it's on high) and the functional options (auto, eco, light indicator) are really useful. seems to have good range - if i'm cooking or spraying hairspray in the other room, it flips on pretty quickly. i live in a city with OK air quality - i didnt realize this would make such a big difference, but it does.

i opted for the wifi version and i'm not sure it was worth it. i think the regular one would have been just fine. the app it connects to has horrible reviews, but i haven't had any trouble so far. the benefit of the app is that you can control the device from your phone and some smart devices (alexa and google yes; siri/homepod no). the app has a sleep timer that the machine doesnt have, and shows you a graph of your air quality over time. i think unless you're really committed to your IoT, you can save your money and skip the wifi option because the standard version still has all the most useful features.

Update a week later: There was an update on the software this morning, and now everything is back to normal. Hopefully things stay this way. (+1 Star)

Update 3 days later: I got a message today from this air purifier this morning saying the wifi is spotty, and I checked the app again. Lo and behold, I can control the air purifier again via app, although when I try to go to the home page and check the "product location outdoor air quality", I get a pop-up saying "There is a system error" and the display is "Unable to receive information, please try again". Still, I'm pretty happy to see the depletion % for the filters again, which honest is half the reason why I wanted wifi connection in the first place. (+1 Star)

Update 1 week later: The wi-fi function has stopped working. This morning it became no longer connected, and no matter what I try, it will no longer connect to the wifi network. Sucks this functionality only worked for a week. Stuck on "Connecting to Wi-Fi. Please Wait", and then it tells me "Internet connection of the product is not complete" (-2 stars).

Normal living generates unpleasant smells, and I typically have to open the windows every day or every other day to air out. Since getting this air purifier, I haven't felt the need to open the windows in over a week. I can't smell anything unpleasant, and at mode 1, I can't hear this thing at all. On mode 2, this is still quieter than my air conditioner, and mode 3 (the loudest), it's about the same as my air conditioner. Also no complaints about the wifi controls. (5 Stars)

I don't just trust a product when it says it promises to remove things from the air that I can't see or smell-- I test it!

When I purchased this, I also purchased an Air Quality Meter that could measure both particulates in the air, such as pollen, but also tVOCs. Now you may be wondering-- how do I know the meter works then? I tested that too! I made sure it responded to air vapors produced by chemical exposure, as well as by burning gas near it (I have a gas stove, which produces tVOCs simply by being used). With the meter proven working, I then tested this air filter.

After just an hour, this air filter took my normally pretty good air quality (particulates: 10-15, tVOCs of about 1) and improved the air significantly. Pollen, dust, and other particulates went down to a mere 1-2 (90% reduction!) and the air smelled notably... fresher? It was strange, not that the air smelled different so much as the air *didn't* smell at all. The change was so notable that my wife walked in and commented on it!

As for tVOCs, it wasn't as impressive (a 20% reduction in the same time) BUT let's be real-- there wasn't many tVOCs in the air to start with, so it might be less effective at scrubbing it out than if there were more. Even still, a 20% reduction in one hour? Not bad at all, and the numbers stayed as low (about 0.8) for as long as I ran the filter!

This product ticks every box I had. It destroys all smells in the area and leaves crisp clean air after running for 60 minutes full blast for first time use. Then switch it to either speed 1 or 2. I keep it at 2!
Not only does this product do what it claims, it’s got wifi I literally do not have to even deal with the device most of the times and it even reminds me when to clean the pre filter or switch it. If you’re a super user it has a function to automatically order you a new filter thru Alexa automatically when it’s time, after a year or more.

I brought the coway air mega AP-1512 HHS, black colored. The advantage it has over the other white colored model is that it is app and wifi compatible and also does NOT have an ionizer, so no ozone concerns.
It works pretty well, for me it didn’t detect bad air quality when i first started it which had me thinking it was defective but when I started cooking and had some smoke and odors it immediately switched to high setting which proved it was working quite well. I do not have many allergies i suspect so can’t comment on that aspect but it definitely makes the air in my house feel cleaner and odorless. I move it between rooms as i have a large bedroom and living room and the only con i see is that it takes sometime (like 5-10 mins) to reconnect to wifi when you switch rooms. You can also switch off the bright light on top at night which is a huge pro for me. All in all definitely recommend!

I didn't know to expect, so my surprise was how quiet it was when running at slow speed. The next surprise was that it collected a lot dust from the room I put it in, not all, but a lot. I run the purifier in auto mode 24/7, it is quiet (you literally can't hear it standing next to it) because it never gets out of low speed mode, and the same goes for night time when we are sleeping. That being said, you can hear the fan blowing when it kicks into medium speed, not bad but you hear it. If the purifier sensor decides to run fast speed you hear it from across a large room, not bad but you know a fan is running on fast. The sensor is a very good item with this unit because if my wife sprays hair spray in the bathroom (the connecting room) it might take a minute or two but the unit senses "dirty" air and kicks up the speed until it doesn't sense the hair spray. I love that feature. Be mindful, you have to purchase carbon and hepa replacement filters, check their cost and then decide if you can do that.
