Amazing headstud kit without paying more than needed

This was my first time ever purchasing head studs for any truck, I always knew about the other BIG BOX names, but when I stumbled across these and read the reviews, I couldn't justify paying that extra cost for basically less of a package.

First, these were incredible for the value, the way everything is packaged individually, they keep the 6 studs for the exhaust side separate from the factory, you don't have to dig around and hope you have the right 6. It all felt extremely high quality, to the point I was hoping it wasnt all just for show.

It had everything I needed, every stud, washer, nut, lubricant, instructions, etc. The instructions were very clear and even the paper they are wrote on feels laminated-ish, so no oil or grease will make it un readable and junk during the process if you are constantly messing with it.

Everything installed flawlessly, zero issues. Now the only thing I will say that is maybe a tiny tiny downside is, they dont go into or show in great detail about trimming the rear rocker arm cover to fit the stud/nut, but you shouldn't pass these up because of that, overall superb headstud kit, I highly recommend.

Very well packaged unlike some other competitors I’ve purchased from could use a little more torque lube other then that will purchase again for future jobs put these in a 2018 6.7 Cummins put them on 140ftlbs so far so good got 1500miles on them

I bought an Xotic set for a 2014 6.7 cummins after researching several other brands. Studs are packaged very well, the 6 longer studs for the exhaust side are easy to identify. Install was straight forward, they included some very nice instructions to do the job. I had an issue with one stud not being correct and I emailed Xotic per the info on the instructions and I included pictures of the issue. Jason from Xotic responded within minutes and they shipped out an entire new set before an hour had passed. I will definitely use Xotic in the future as well as suggest then to others.

I torqued these to 145pounds. A youtuber torqued these to 220pounds before failure. Their test showed 170 was the yield point. Knowing that I chose to go with 140 pounds to be safe. When I did a hot retorque they were at 135 before movement. Now I do all my trucks at 140 and don't bother with the retorque anymore.

This is my 6th set. Every truck I get the first thing I do is head stud them before tuning and other things. Install them one by one. As you put them back, torque to 90 before going up. Then go up in 10pound increments working from the center out.

When placing the head gasket on my 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9L 24 valve I ran into a clearance issue being unable to put the rear studs in. I had to bring the head forward and ended up pre putting the studs in with sockets as temporary spacers. (See photos). This solved the install issue.
