Product seems sturdy. Havent road tested yet. Instructions are lacluster and could be more helpful.
The strap around oversized tires (235 or larger) doesnt work bc the strap is too short. My spare is a 235 and the strap would not go around as pictured.
The central bolt seems flimsy to be the central supporting part of the whole rack. If it fails the whole thing will fall off.

Like the fact that is simple and not a bulky rack. Easy to deploy and take it out. I had used it only for a short trip with one bicycle only and it work fine. The bicycle is firm. Probably the only issue is that the wheel in my van sits to the right side, so one bicycle wheel is way out. Another thing is that it comes with two stands to support the rack. The small one was too short and the other one was too large. So I cut with a grinder about two inches to get it to the correct size that works with the width of the van tire.

The material that matters most is the wheel housing and the connecting point which are made of sturdy steel. Where the flaw lies is the connecting joint between the wheel housing and rack. The joint is very loose and does wobble. Add a screw to tighten this joint and the rack is really a gem. I took it on a 600 mile trip and had no issues.

Wobbles on post

Rack is fine, but it wobbles when mounted on the post because there is a lot of play between the size of the mount and the post. The tire braces help stabilize it, but if you mount it off center, such as on a Honda CR-V, then the braces can't be positioned properly.
The single bolt that secures the rack to the post has a wonky plastic head that doesn't allow you to tighten it down.

First off, I think the overall design is great and I really want to like this thing, but during the install the "long extension" broke off as I was tightening it down. Sooo disappointed... There is no warning in the instructions about tightened tension level.

If I can get a replacementment part I'm certain I'll love this and my rating will be a 5, but for now my rating is only a 2 because of the poor quality of the extension peice.

Please be careful when tightening yours down.

First of all the directions for installation leave a lot to be desired. The parts that I was supposed to use for the size tire on my jeep did not work. I took it off and put the rack on several times before I found something that worked. The only thing holding the actual rack onto the piece that is actually mounted on the spare tire rack is just a small screw with a plastic handle at the end. I was never able to have it mounted to the jeep so that the stops that are supposed to rest against the tire rested against the tire. The rack wiggles back and forth if there are bikes on the rack or not-which causes some rattling. I didn't feel comfortable with the set up so I put a strap on the rack and attacked it to the spare tire for more support.

My biggest complaint would be how wobbly it is: there's a not-too-surprising amount of play between the sleeve and post that I've seen in many other bike racks.

The rack showed up late and when i opened the package i noticed that it was pretty scuffed up on the top of the two rails. Install was easy and fast but the instructions weren't great. I ended up using the short extension instead of the long one it recommended for the size tire i have. It showed up late and i wasn't able to use it for the trip i needed it for. Was credited five bucks for the late delivery. They really shouldn't use USPS due to all the problems they're having. I decided to keep the rack as opposed to returning it and ill see if i can buff out the scratches and clear coat to protect from rust.
