Read this delightful, colourful story to my five year old granddaughter, and she loved it. She gave it a thumbs up and a 5-star - one can't argue with kids. They know their stuff and what they like.

Thanks for the author, Ingo Blum, for a beautiful little story which teaches the importance of working towards overcoming fear in our lives.

This rhyming picture book is a perfect choice for preschoolers to teach the concepts of teamwork, cooperation, friendship, and empathy. The illlustrations are appealing, but I would have preferred the text to be larger to make it easier for children beginning to read. Suggested as a bedtime story or classroom read aloud.

Little bird is afraid of heights. He goes up a little ways and then goes back down because he is afraid. The other birds make fun of him. He goes in search of a friend. I will let you discover who he finds.

Loves the simple illustrations, the 2nd pages keeps me reading the book. I can imagine myself teaching my girls about their fear and many other things i can teach to them.

A good book to read with kids and also suitable for slightly older child like 7-8.
