The book looks nice . My advice would be to invest in a DR scholls inner sole as this boot comes with the stiff thin sole with no support to the foot . If your going to be hiking and walking all day in these boots then you will be happy you invested in a inner sole.

Sneaker-like comfort but the jury's still out on durability

These boots are some of the more comfortable ones I've owned. They required very little break in and feel more like sneakers than traditional work boots. I have however, noticed some fraying along the outer toe cap after six months of 2 - 3 day a week wear, so will have to see how they hold up to a full year of use.

My job precludes me having to work out in the rain all day, but I am both inside and outside in all types of weather and so far the waterproofing has seemed to hold up. The outer suede leather will get soaked, but none of the moisture seems to pass through tomy socks, and in general the boots seem to dry quickly.

I got these because I really liked a pair of low top Timberland Garrison hikers I had. The low tops lasted longer than Merrils I have had and were more comfortable. This pair fits well and is also quite comfortable. I've worn them multiple times - the last time being yesterday when I went on a four mile hike through packed snow in 30 degree weather. They had good traction and kept my feet warm. They fit well with regular hiking socks and with a heavier pair.

Three months use on a two year warranty and they claim this is normal wear and tear I have boots I paid less for that I’ve used for years! These boots are straight garbage and the customer service is even worse! Waste of money
