Where's the remote, you ask?
Why, it's right there.
That's right, Daddy bought a neon green glow-in-the-dark remote cover with grips that can't slide between cushions.
Daddy wins this round! MUA HA HA HA!
Seriously, both glow and don't slip into the couch.
In the dark picture, the remote is in the blue case, which glows greenish as well. The green case glows brighter.

They DON'T really glow

When we think of glow in the dark we expect to see a certain amount of "fluorescent glow". If you bring this into a completely 100% pitch black dark room (like a bathroom in a coal mine at midnight), it glows maybe 5-10% of what you might expect. So given that a regular dark room lets says 30% (because you'll always get a little bit of light from somewhere)...these will not be glowing enough to see any kind of glowing. Therefore the glow feature is useless.

I bought this knowing that pretty much everyone said it doesn't glow. The item description does not say it glows in the dark and only says glow. You could make it glow a little if you shine the brightest light possible, but it pretty much doesn't glow. Anyways, the casing is a bit thick, which makes it difficult to press the buttons on the controller. Overall, the feel of the case is nice for the price.

These sleeves were just what we needed for our very slippery amazon fire stick remote control. It makes it much easier to hold, and keeps it from sliding between the couch cushions. The glow in the dark feature is fun for the kids. It was quite tricky putting on, needing lots of stretching etc., but that ensures a great snug no-slip fit. It's just a teeny tiny bit off around the power button and microphone/alexa button though. The material slips down ever so slightly that sometimes it triggers the alexa button while we're watching something. No biggy, we just stretch the material back up again. Not a deal breaker, that's for sure, just a very snug fit

I should have read into the reviews further. For some reason they have a high star rating but they have almost zero glow which is why I bought them.

There are a few good points. They offer a littler protection to the remote. When dropped the batteries don't come flying out. And it provides some non slip to the remote.

I bought it for the glow in the dark and they don't glow at all.

These cases came in fast and ultimately I am really satisfied with the quality. A little sad that they don't glow like I had hoped (my kids keep losing their controllers and I hoped it would glow enough to find if under their bed).
They slide on easily, wrap around the controller tightly and offer a nice comfort grip.

And we also have hardwood floors and sadly this gets dropped so much, so this protector gives this remote some protection as well. worth the money, cheaper than buying another remote.

The whole thing glows when placed under the light. The blue one does too but not as bright. This is perfect on my dark bed. Easy to put on just slowly rub upwards. They make the buttons feel different, but I’ll get used to it. I love it. The grip is better and I feel a bit better if it were to fall on the ground.

Fits perfectly on my fire stick. The skin is very thin but seems durable and the ridges on the back make it less likely to slip out of hour hand. I haven’t used the blue (from the 2 pack). It doesn’t glow in the dark well. I put it directly under light for a couple of minutes to take the attached picture.
Overall, good product, good value.
