The tin case was great. I guess depending on who the gift cars is for it can be good or bad. If it’s for youngsters then it’ll do just fine. But for adults I’d think twice. I thought the actual card would be plastic or of premium paper quality. However it’s a flimsy card and makes the whole gift experience feel cheap.

Like some other reviewers have said, these cards just didn't work.
I ordered 2 as Christmas gifts, got a weird message about how they wouldn't work- but don't worry, they'll send a replacement set and those will surely work.
Christmas rolls around, and surprise, none of the cards work.
I spoke to support and they assured that the next replacement set would work... Guess what? As the title of this review says, 0/6 on functioning gift cards.
So I'm out $50, a stupid amount of time gathering evidence for support, and 2 Christmas gifts.
Save your time, save your money- don't buy these.

Worst Christmas Gift Ever

I purchased this card as Christmas gift. However, one of my friends received this card told me she could not redeem it. After I contact Amazon custom service and the agent told me they did not activate all 12 cards I purchased during Christmas time. And Amazon is not able to activate the card now. Also the Amazon agent asked me to callback all the gift cards I sent out as Christmas gift, because they need to know the number on card .
Most of my friends do not tell me even the cards are not working, or they give the card to others. If this friend did not notice me, I dont even know the problem. It is the worst Christmas gift ever.

I purchased 3 of these at $25 value each recently. Upon receiving my order, an email was sent to me stating there was something wrong with the cards and to please discard them and new ones were already on their way. Okay. No biggie. I received the new ones and just for kicks, I decided to check the balance on the new cards. All three cards had $0 amount in them. So now I have 6 invalid cards. Had I not checked I would’ve gifted these $0 value cards to people. Not cool!
Boxes are cute though.

I ordered 4 gift cards of different values delivered to the same address, but none had the values written on the cards. The recipient spent an hour trying to determine the value of the cards to be distributed as gifts, but was not successful. Finally he contacted me and I spent time trying to figure it out. Really? Is Amazon not able to put a value on the gifted tins to save confusion. Not a great system. There’s a first and last time for everything!

Do not give Amazon gifts cards. I had 20 card ranging from $25.00 to $50.00 that were going to be gifted. I'm not sure why but I went online to check the balances and ALL of them had a ZERO balance. NOBODY could explain! I am a Prime member who spends a lot of money annually and nobody did anything!
Between checking the cards one by one and calling customer no service I spend three hours and NOTHING!!!
DO NOT GIVE THESE CARDS OUT!!!

Ordered over $2,000 in gift cards for employee gifts. Amazon shipped 39 gift cards that were invalid. They sent a replacement order for the 39 gift cards and NONE of the cards were valid. Absolute waste of time and now trying to deal with their CS team to get a refund. There will not be a third attempt for them to make this order right.
