Works great. Saves money. Archives at night if plan active.

Setup and sync with mini camera took a bit of time to sort out but not bad. I have it archiving to a 64GB thumb drive which formatted automatically to ex-fat after a firmware update. I have the quality set to High which records in 1080P. Standard is 720P and there is a difference. The bit rate is still very low (0.205 MB/sec or 1.64 Megabit/sec) so a 64GB drive can hold about 85 Hrs. of video in 1080P. If you have your recordings set to 20 sec. it can hold about 15,000 clips - Wow!!
I pulled out the thumb drive after a couple of days and the files were all neatly arranged in their own dated folder.
Be sure to set your sensor zones so the camera isn't activated by street traffic etc. Otherwise you could have hundreds of files recorded every day.
Once your active cloud subscription is over, the files are sent directly to the thumb drive in real time (or so it says).
So far I'm really impressed with this little gizmo. It's been solid for the last 5 days with the only problem being the camera sometimes takes a while to reset to daytime colour instead of infra-red B&W.
Although you can see and singly erase files, I find it easier to pull out the thumb drive every few days to review and then mass erase the files I no longer want.
For around 90 dollars total, I have a functional security system that works through WiFi so I can hide the sync module anywhere in case of an intrusion. What's not to like??? Highly Recommended.
