I used this bracket to replace a shorter one that holds a 39" HDTV in our travel trailer. As in many trailers the TV is mounted on a wall that's perpendicular to the alignment of our viewing chairs, so we need to rotate the TV to be able to see it. The original bracket was too short for the 39" TV that the dealer installed, leaving us watching the screen at a 45" angle. With the 19" extension of the MOUNTUP TV Wall Mount we can now rotate it all the way to directly face the chairs. Overall the bracket appears to be well designed and manufactured, but I'm not sure how sturdy it will be in the long run. It doesn't have any way to lock the TV to the wall, so I've added a couple of velcro straps attached to the top of the wall that wrap around under the TV and hold it in place and supports its weight while the trailer is moving.
This is a great product all around except that the tilt is managed with bolts instead of pressure plates. This means that you're supposed to tighten and loosen the bolts when you want to change the tilt. You can semi-tighten the bolts and have on-the-fly adjustable tilt but it's not as perfect as pressure plate adjusters. Of course this only matters if you're adjusting the tilt frequently which is usually not the case so it's not that big of a deal. Other than this issue I think this is a great product and I thank them for including the magnetized level which really helped out during the installation. I was able to do everything myself except hang the tv on the mount because I was unable to see where the hook on the back of the tv was but other than that it's a one person job.
this is super sturdy like i hit my head on the tv so many times 😭 but the tv hasnt budged other than the arm of the mount moving a little bit anyways maybe its just me but it took me forever to get these bolts into the wall. would’ve probably been easier if i had the right piece for my powerdrill?? i also had to pre-drill the holes into the wall which was expected just be aware of that for others who dont expect it. the lil wrench it came with didnt fit the bolts so i had to rummage through my dads toolbox and bring like 8 wrenches to my house to find one that fit 🥲 inconvenienced me but thats whatever compared to how good this mount is
Great value, and excellent choice for compact and widely adaptable tv mount. The only disappointing thing with this mount, is that even a 32" tv does not get full motion... That being said, to meet my definition of full motion I expected a full 90 to 90 swivel, which you don't get. Other than that a great value.
It took me a bit of time to figure out how to attaché the extending arms for a larger TV. The articulating arm takes a bit of manual manipulation to position the TV after installation. Overall, as along as this mount holds up, I’d recommend!
Instructions were very confusing, there is a lot of parts of this wall mount. Because it fits different size TVs, Measurements are all done in millimeters which is another confusing thing. After we figured it out it went very fast. Holds TV up nicely tell it’s nicely swivels nicely.
Put together easily and does the job. Bracket arm seems stressed due to the weight of the TV but verified weight limit and size and well under limit. Easily adjustable field of vision. I would buy again for smaller TV.
Wall mount was easy to install and setup. My setup instructions where to use the m6 bolts that were 30mm, however my 43" TV instructions were to use m6 35mm bolts. Unfortunately, the mount bolt package didn't include that length so had to pick up at local hardware store.
