5.0 out of 5 stars Takes the Adrian story up to a higher gear

I'm a long-time fan of the Adrian's Undead Diary series so I was over the moon when the new chapter in the story "Adrian's March" was announced and now I've finally gotten my hands on it. As with the rest of this amazing series the story is as much about the survivors as it is about the apocalypse they're fighting their way through and the writer has crafted characters that you really care about and empathise with. As this is book 11 I won't go too much into the story as there's no way to do that without major spoilers from previous books but I will say that the Adrian's Undead diary series has muscled its way into my all time top ten and that is no easy feat. If you haven't read the earlier books then do yourself a big favour and find "Dark Recollections" by the same author Chris Philbrook. I can also highly recommend them as audio books via Audible, the narrator is perfectly paired with the author.

5.0 out of 5 stars Can’t wait for Book 12

Pros-I have read and reread all the books in AUD and corresponding books and have loved each and every one. Adrian is the most down-to-earth, outrageous, horny, profane and compelling character you will ever read. I recommend this series to everyone that asks “what are you reading “ or “name a great book”. I am so involved in this book and character, I base my prepping charts off his. I want to GO to RI and find Bastion/ALPA even though it’s fictional. This particular book picks up at a dark time and follows Adrian’s course of action. We meet new characters, learn more about behind-the-scenes characters and start off on a new adventure.
Cons-a very few grammar inconsistencies

Grab Book 1, just try it. If it’s not for you, no biggie. You may find yourself sucked in and dive right into the world of AUD. From a fellow Adrianite, welcome!

5.0 out of 5 stars Still one of my favourites series, 11 books in.

The story has advanced a long way since the opening of Book 1 "Dark Recollections" but even though we're now on the 11th volume, the story and characters are still thoroughly engaging. Going back to Adrian and company is like hanging out with a bunch of mates that you've become familiar with over time.

I'm not usually a fan of the zombie apocalypse genre as it feels overly saturated these days, but Adrian's Undead Diary is the standout exception. It has a potent mix of horror, emotional resonance, and laugh out loud humour as we get to experience Adrian's often goofy humour and anecdotes. In short, AUD is simply a brilliant story with characters you adore, so roll back to Book 1 and start your journey. It won't disappoint.

5.0 out of 5 stars No God...Please God, keep this story going.

Book 11. It is hard to keep a character fresh and interesting that long into a series. One reason it works for Adrian's UnDead Diary is the real danger the characters around Adrian are in. Central characters come and go. Just having lost many of the characters we love, Adrian picks his core group and they head off to England to spread hope to a besieged continent. Adrian in warrior mode is the best. Another reason this series has legs is the diary format. If I did not have the running thoughts of Adrian Ring, I am not sure if I would still be as into this character as I am. He makes me laugh out loud. I love me some Adrian Ring. Best day in weeks...a good read and laugh with my guy Adrian Ring.

Chris Philbrook is one of the most amazing authors ever! I have been in love with his books since the first line of the first page . This series is by far my most favorite. He makes you fall in love with Adrian, a deeply flawed character, and then takes you on an incredible adventure. His writing is so unbelievable you feel as though you are actually going through the same events as the characters. You can see it, feel it, touch it, smell it. I strongly urge you if you have not, go back to book one and start your own adventure!

I’d forgotten some of Adrians world while I waited for the next instalment but it all came flooding back when I picked up this book. Adrian is an accidental hero but his character has been built so much that I can’t fail to like him and root for him. Be prepared for a bumpy ride because it’s not all plain sailing but it is a great read. Really hope the next book is well underway cause I need to know what happens next

What can I say about this book that I haven’t said about the rest of the series? Chris continues to craft a tale that I will never tire of. Crazy that I’ve invested so many years to a fictional set of characters, with the main one (Adrian) being someone that we could all be more like. Flawed, seen as strong, but inside is holding it together barely at times, and of course funny as hell. Thank you Chris for another installment of the AUD world. And as Oliver says, “Please May I have some more?”

Once again, a wonderful addition to the best series I've ever read. If you like zombies, you'll love the series. If you don't care for zombies, you'll love the series. There is drama, romance, horror, and you will laugh out loud. Adrian Ring will get under your skin and next thing you know you will be begging for the next installment right along with the rest of us. I expect to be completely immersed in what I read, and this did exactly that. More, please.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another Great Entry in the AUD World

Book 11, and it’s still just as engrossing as the very first entry. This series is what got me interested in Chris’s writing, back in the website days, and this book is another great entry in the series, seeing Adrian and some of his crew move to a new venue to continue the fight to rid the world of evil. Great book, great series!

Since the early days of live online blog posts, I've been following Chris Philbrook's story of Adrian. I went to college in Boston and my friends and I tried to figure out which "city" it was... Well I'm not about to spoil anything. No God is a long-awaited addition to Adrian's story, and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend the series because honestly, the zombie apocalypse is a welcome distraction to 2020, and also because I love the series.
