OMG!!!! I figured I'd go back to the beginning of it all. The very first Salvation Society book. Boy am I glad I did. What a first book!!!! Jackson and Catherine are fire and matches!!!! Their chemistry is off the charts. Their love for each other is sky high but their fears are insurmountable. What an amazing story to start this amazing series of books. Don't miss out on this series!!!

Don't waste your time. I live reading and found myself skimming a lot as it dragged, story line was lacking. Then ended on a cliffhanger... if you want to call it that. So much wrong I can't even write it all here. ****I really doubt the reviews on this book are legitimate reviews- seriously lol. *****

This was my first Corinne Michaels book that I read and HOLY!!!!!!! I literally read this in a matter of one night. Jackson and Catherine have such a HOOOOOOTTTT love connection that seeps from the pages. All i kept thinking is I wish i met a Jackson. Their love story is something that I kept rooting for even with all the hurdles they were facing and that ending.... man what cliffhanger. I love Corinne Michaels and look forward to reading the conclusion as well as more books. Not many writers are good at making such a hot connection between two characters. I love the banter and the unknown but also the longing and wanting for Catherine and Jackson to make it. This book is AMAZING. If you haven't read it, it's a MUST!!

Ok so my first read by CM. I know I'm a little late to the show so to speak. So, I also didn't know this was going to be a major cliffhanger. Never fear though. Already one clicked Beholden.

This book was POWERFUL!!! This one can teach many people so many different things. A big part of this book is about self worth & just being enough. I love this message so much because many people struggle with this all the time.

This is the first Corinne Michaels book that i have ever read and I really enjoyed it. I liked the mc Catherine and her love interest Jackson. Characters were well written and the story was good for the most part. There was a significant lull in the middle of the story that I had to push myself to continue reading through and this one ends on a cliffhanger which is a bit frustrating but I get it -- it makes you want to grab the next book and dig right in.

OMG, I loved this book! What Catherine goes through at the beginning is heartbreaking but, her first meeting with Jackson made me so happy. I loved the connection these two felt! I really enjoyed the secondary characters too. This book ends the way it started with heartbreak and a complete cliffhanger! This was my first Corinne Michaels book and now I plan on devouring the rest of her books, absolutely loved this book!

I liked the first part to this duet. The hero is strong, determined, knows what he wants, and goes for it. The heroine has been hurt, used to men walking out on her, and expects it of the hero. A little predictable with the cliffy. Heroine could use a backbone. Overall enjoyable.
