0 hair could be cut with the guides on, as it jammed in a split second. My poor dog needed to be shaved asap, so I shaved him without the guides as the mats had to come out, and his hair needed to be short so his indoor coat is more comfortable(he's a cold breed). The darn clipper still jammed non stop, and it took me an hr to mangle the poor thing.
He's a lot more comfortable being mat free, but goodness he looks horrific, and I couldn't even get his hair short. I was not expecting him to look amazing, just evenly clipped like I've done to previous dogs, not looking like teens buzzed a new kids head as a prank. Poor dog.
I'm going to charge it up again, and try to shorten his hair tomorrow. Maybe it wasn't charged long enough. If there is significant improvement tomorrow, I'll edit my rating.

Still utter rubbish after charging all night and all day. If I had a printer, I would return this junk today!
