I ordered 2 of the 10 foot cables, a few months later one of the two failed for reasons unknown. The other cable is fine and I have had no problems with the six foot version I ordered previously.

I tend to "cast" TV shows and movies from my laptop to my 4K TV (via Chromecast) and figured adding a direct connection would improve every facet of this process (picture, speed, sound). Surprisingly, the opposite happened--at very least where the picture was concerned. I actually get a better picture with my ~250-300mbps wifi connection than I did with this 18gbps cable.

Maybe the image is processed differently or there was something that I needed to adjust to make the process work better? Frankly, I have no idea as "plug and play" means just that to me (and I expected no less from this cable). Even so, I attempted to adjust my TV settings and still was more satisfied with the wifi version. This outcome was a real disappointment given all of the very positive reviews. Maybe I received a defective cable? Again, I have no idea, but I won't be using this cable and it's back to wifi streaming for me. (sigh)

Da ich bei meinem Fernseher gelegentliche Bildaussetzer über HDMI hatte, wollte ich die alten HDMI-Kabel auswechseln, da diese nur den High Speed HDMI-Standard erfüllen, was für 4K bei 60 Hz nicht unbedingt ausreicht. Also habe ich bewusst nach Kabeln gesucht, die auch dem Ultra High Speed-Standard entsprechen. Da ich bei Amazon Basic Produkten bislang immer das Gefühl hatte, dass die Artikelbezeichnung zutreffend ist, habe ich also ein 3m- und ein 90cm-Kabel bestellt. Bei Ankunft dann die Enttäuschung: Auf den Schachteln steht lediglich "High-Speed 8K HDMI Cable", also nichts, was auf die Erfüllung des Ultra High Speed-Standards schließen lässt! Die Kabel selbst sind gänzlich unbeschriftet.
Immerhin: Die Kabel selbst sind wesentlich dicker als die alten (7mm statt 5mm Durchmesser) und die Bildaussetzer sind verschwunden. Kann also gut sein, dass das Kabel technisch die Anforderungen erfüllt und einfach nicht zertifiziert ist. Die Artikelbezeichnung ist in jedem Falle unnötig irreführend, weswegen ich hier nur drei Sterne vergebe.

Se cercate un cavo economico, senza tanti fronzoli va bene. Il cavo rispetto a quelli in tessutto e pieghevoli (che posseggo) è di bassa qualità. Ad ogni modo fa il suo dovere, anche se con schermo montato su braccio a volte esce dalla sede dietro allo schermo.
Meglio spendere qualche euro in più.
