I mean UBISOFT is great at making Assassin Creed series, Rainbow Siege Six and Far cry series. But they are losing their game. Honestly, who wants to buy a ps5 game. In which you can not even do anything, well if you compare it to Assassins creed Valhalla, GTA V and Red Dead Redemption. It is the only game I have ever played that honestly. Makes me feel like I wasted my time lol. Which in other games you actually feel like you did something. Honestly building this game onto one of the Assassin Creeds Maps is one thing. But come on releasing on PS5, next gen consoles is an insult to them. I mean detroit being human is better than this, anyways, hackers love it. But I honestly feel hackers on their own can make a better game than this. But its my honest review. Upto you what you guys and girls like or not. Cheers!
The AI that helps you on your missions has the most personality and charm, but every other character is grossly wooden and under developed. It's cool that you can recruit any NPC, but because of this, a lot of dialogue is repeated and you'll come across the exact same voices. It's all very jarring and disconnected.
On the plus side it's probably one of the nicest renders of London in a game, and the soundtrack is great with a lot of UK Grime and London-based artists. The story concept is cool, reminding me a lot of Mr. Robot.. But it's just poorly executed with no character development. It's really hard to care about their cause. I stopped playing after five hours, since the missions really do just repeat themselves.
Amazing game fun to explore London, a few crashes during the game but I expect those to be fixed by Ubisoft soon. Very diverse group of hackers available with unique play styles I encourage you to play with perma death on so if you die you lose that operative for good
