I’m not sure if this really does the job of helping the winter doldrums but I bought two, one for my husband and one for my son-in-law, both watch and clock repair men. They love the extra light where they work. Not glaring but what they needed.

Cette lampe est bien mais on ne peut pas faire varier grand chose, la luminosité par exemple est très violente et ne peut pas être baissée, les températures de couleur également (3 choix possibles).

The light arrived yesterday but it took me almost 10 min to power up trying short press/long press and multiple power sockets..I found am not alone from some reviews. It has no issue powering up since then.Not sure why. The worst thing is the stand cannot be affixed firmly and very easy to fall off. Am thinking of returning it now, but want to use it for a few days first to see if I do need one or not.

This is a nice product but on the one I received the power switch doesn’t work well. Takes 3 or 4 attempts to get it to turn on. Otherwise all other features work great.

...how hard would it be to add a soft start? When you turn it on you dive for the floor it is so bright. Ergonomic FAIL engineering FAIL product design FAIL.

I’m not sure what I was expecting but this really isn’t it. To me it’s just like the daylight light bulbs we have around our house. I think it would be cheaper just to buy those lightbulbs and turn them on and brightening the whole room inside of having this tiny light. But I realize maybe that’s not feasible for some people? I still keep it on in my office with my regular lights on too, but I’d return it if I hadn’t thrown away my box

- because the bells and whistles don't work, and neither does customer "service." None of the buttons function. After a month of use, and constantly working the power button, I can usually get it to function within five tries, instead of having to unplug it. The brightness, timer, and quality buttons are still merely surface decoration. Customer "service" is farmed out to "Zen" (which seems to be a new thing with several companies). Their algorithms produce solely irrelevant responses (or maybe they are koans), probably designed to frustrate the buyer enough to stop trying. (e.g. "send us a picture of the damage" Really? You want a video of me pushing the non-functioning buttons?) Fortunately, I can get by with just the basic light, because I believe that if I returned it for exchange, I would have the same problem. I will continue to try to get the buttons to work, despite the total lack of assistance from the manufacturer. ETA: thanks to another reviewer, who suggested that swiping works better on the options, things are not so bad. So why doesn't customer service know that?

Bright Light, Bad On/Off Switch, Poor Amazon Replacement

I really wanted this to work because it was a nice design for a tabletop (the size of a tablet) and a bright light with brightness adjustments, but the On/Off switch was stubborn. On one try I had to depress the small switch over 25 times before it turned the light on. I returned it for a replacement.
I took the faulty light to UPS late afternoon one day and early the next morning the replacement was delivered to my house. I think I received the same light I had returned the day before. The cord was crammed into the box just like I had crammed it in when I repackaged the one I returned instead of being neatly packaged. The light switch was as faulty and difficult. I returned the second light for a refund.

Hard to turn on

It appears that there is some type of design flaw in the button that turns on the light. It takes numerous tries to get it to turn on. This is the second one we’ve had and both have had the same problem. The first one we returned because never could get it turned on. The second unit is only slightly better. Multiple tries to get the exact spot that works to turn on. It would be much better if it had a switch or something instead of the button. After finally getting it turned on, everything else works fine. Very bright and the timer works fine. Several different colors of light.

So I was excited to try this light since I’ve done my research and read so many articles on how this can help with seasonal depression. I really wish it worked for me but I couldn’t continue using it to see the benefits because it would give me a pounding headache after only 15 min and my headache would last all day. So I plan on returning it. Wish this worked I had high hopes.

Honestly, this thing helps tremendously through the winter months - 30 minutes first thing in the morning with my cup of coffee - amazing! The reason for the 3 stars is because it's SO difficult to get it on and off, it's like the on/off button either does not work properly, or the button itself isn't exactly lined up with where it indicates to turn it on/off. I just unplug it to turn it off. Turning it on, I push it once: Nothing. I push down and hold: Nothing. I push down quickly: Nothing. I move a little to the right or left, then push: Nothing. It's like you have to get it JUST right before it'll turn on. Grr!
