4.0 out of 5 starsGreat work of art!
Reviewed in Canada on November 5, 2021
Love this TV. It is a great work of art.

Bought 55inch.

It was delivered on time without any issues.

Pros:
1. Art mode is the best feature of the TV
2. The remote is amazing and the TV works well with my Logitech keyboard
3. Wall mount is easy to install (see cons)

Cons:
1. Screen is too reflective for bright places like mine
2. Although the wall mount is great, the screws provided with it are not the best. The screw head will get damages if strength is applied to screw it in a stud. I used off the shelf screw
(Would give a 5 star if cons 1 and 2 were not a problem)
3. Art mode subscription could be cheaper

1.0 out of 5 starsDoesn't Come With a Frame, Forced Ads, & a Monthly Subscription For Art Mode
Reviewed in Canada on October 24, 2021
TV looks good. Still bitter that the expensive TV I bought called 'The Frame' didn't come with any actual frame(s). You have to purchase 'The Frames' separately (at an eye-popping ~$200 each). The actual frames are just cheap plastic (but granted, they do look good), one or several of them could have easily been included in the box the TV (that again, is called 'The Frame') came in.

Seems 'The Frame' line of TV's is all about nickel and dimeing customers. No actual frame(s) are included with the purchase of the TV (even though almost all of the product photos include a frame around the TV) and every-time you want to use 'Art Mode' on the TV (one of the main features of this product) you have to navigate through an ad that aggressively pushes the +$10/month subscription to access the 'art' library. There is a few handfuls of free art options available, but that requires you to push past the subscription offer each time.

The cherry on top is the banner ads they include in the bottom of the TV interface. I would have gladly paid more to not feel like I am being exploited at every turn, or at the very least I would have appreciated some up-front communication on all of this.

TV without the +$200 frames looks like a pretty regular TV. With the optional frame(s) on it looks pretty good.

Also, there is no way to for the TV to automatically turn on in Art Mode. So if you are interested in Art Mode just be aware that you have to manually navigate to it each time you turn on the TV (while pushing through the subscription offer each time). If you turn off the TV while it is in art mode, or something interrupts Art Mode (like Casting/Air Play) it will not revert back to Art Mode...you'll be sent back to the main interface with those lovely banner ads they have to get views for.

The product looks really good on my wall -after I purchased the actual frame for it. Beautiful physical product that has been ruined, in my opinion, by a poor interface & some tacky greed. I'll be keeping the TV but will be avoiding anything Samsung going forward.

3.0 out of 5 stars 32” | Not the same calibre as the rest
Reviewed in Canada on November 21, 2020
Size : 32Verified Purchase
Please be clear that the 32” version is not 4K, and has far fewer features than the larger versions. There is no Universal Remote/AnyNet+ setting which means it isn’t a truly Universal remote.

The 32” TV does not have ambient mode, intelligent mode, HLG, MultiView.

And you won’t get the “art piece” impression that you want unless you spend hundreds more on a true Deco TV frame.

I keep hoping that the next software update will get me that universal remote option and other features - but, not yet.

3.0 out of 5 stars Poor Service
Reviewed in Canada on November 25, 2021

While we were initially pleased with the Samsung Frame, we began to have problems with the picture. When we notified Samsung they referred it to their authorized repairs who diagnosed the issue over the telephone as a problem with the screen. After ordering a new one, which took two weeks, they came to replace it only to have the mother board blow, which meant taking away our tv. In the meantime we were left without a tv. Not pleased at all by the quality of Samsung's product.

I didn’t feel it was with the money. Just looked a television in the wall not like a photo as advertised. The sound wasn’t desirable either. Sound didn’t pull me into the picture.

I dislike the lack of ability to use personal pictures and the difficulty using Apple TV or Roku Stick with the TV

only good thing is the picture quality and slim design

the remote sucks

Pretty awesome overall but it isn’t compatible at all with the Nintendo Switch. Hopefully they will release a firmware update that fixes the issue.

3.0 out of 5 stars The black box is ugly - ruins the concept of a “picture”
Reviewed in Canada on February 16, 2022

Tv works fine. The remote is a bit confusing. Samsung provides some of their own content via wifi so you have multiple channels to chose from without subscription service.
The guts of the TV have been removed to make it a slim-ish picture frame and are connected by a thick grey wire to an ugly black box. Not a pretty picture (pun half way intended) I would not buy this product again or it’s bigger cousins. The idea is great - implementation not so good. Samsung missed the mark with this product. It would have made more sense to make the tv a few mils thicker and get rid of the ugly box.
Also, the frames for this are expensive and limited in availability.
