Thrilled the replacement remote arrived next day! Initially, it was exceptionally challenging to open the remote to insert the batteries & once finally open, the remote appeared as if I had 'spilled its guts open' -Yikes! (reason for deleting 1-star) I inserted the batteries & very carefully closed the remote while trying to ensure all momentarily disassembled parts properly fit back together again.
Initially, the remote had issues responding but after numerous attempts to use the remote, response was & still is perfect! Whew! So glad I kept patient! Much as I intensely dislike the gross & ecologically insane throw-away market, I had no choice but to get this remote replacement & I hope it'll properly work for a long time to come.
