To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Universal studios release all three "Smokey and The Bandit" films in one set, a decent enough HD upgrade of the "Pursuit Pack" double-sided DVD set from 2003, now available on 2-discs, with the first one on disc one(complete with the same extras from the previous special edition re-issue) and the sequels on the second disc, again with no extras at all(though Part III is presented anamorphic for the first time). Burt Reynolds and Sally Field are in the first two, Jerry Reed, Jackie Gleeson and Mike Henry in all three. Only the original is any good, both sequels are truly awful to be honest, but if you want all three, this is likely your best bet.
There are only a few places where I could actually tell it was 5.1. Like at the very beginnning. The video quality is better overall than the DVD, but the DVD in some places seem brighter. I kind of wonder how the 4K version remaster is (better, worse, equal?)
