To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I gave this collection of DVDs 4 stars because even though I missed about 1/2 of the dialogue, the movies were basically good........good acting, good plots, intriguing, creative stories. The stories kept us focused right through to the end, trying to figure out who the killers were. However, I just assumed that because most of the Hallmark movies include cc or subtitles, that these movies would have the aid for hearing impaired people. I was wrong and it was quite draining, straining to hear the dialogue, or if the sound was turned up, the background music overpowered the words. So, that was a big disappointment. If you have normal hearing and enjoy good mysteries, you'll enjoy these movies.
This is collection #4 of a very popular Hallmark series. Every film is entertaining. Perfect casting and well written. Hope they produce more in the future. So far they have filmed 15 movies. Holds your interest.
This movie series on the Hallmark Channel is so entertaining, I look forward to each new installment. I love the interaction with the characters, and find each movie more enjoyable than the last. I love the cast, and having Roe's mom be an integral part of each storyline only makes the movies so much fun! I must admit that most times I guess the identity of the killer wrong, so I also enjoy the surprise endings. Don't be persuaded by the "Debbie Downers" that this is not a totally enjoyable series...give it a try you may find that you will become a fan!
These, especially Heist and Seek are the worst of the bunch. Is there a different writer? The clothes are tighter and show more cleavage. The dialogue and acting are worse. Niall is too young for Candace and no replacement for Yannick. The plots are thinner. They've lost their verve and rewatchability. So-so and relegated to back shelf D list.
These are good mysteries with a little fun thrown in. It is nice to have her side-kick reporter back. She had disappeared for a season. The characters are real. These are Hallmark so there is no sleeze.
