Difficult for my 6 year old

It’s a cute drawing book for a unicorn lover, however I felt it was still a bit too difficult for my 6 year old to follow the step by step illustrations. Also the unicorns seemed somewhat too childish for a teen, my teen anyway who likes more realistic drawings. If you are looking to draw cartoon illustrations of unicorns then it’s great, just not for the younger age group in my opinion. Maybe 8 years and up.

Kids will learn how to draw unicorns from this book and be inspired to draw other items

Julia Smith's book on drawing unicorns is a book that kids will like. The cover states that "anyone can draw unicorns." I think that by following the steps Smith suggests, anyone can draw them. The book gives general information on how to use the book, what you need, drawing tips for new artists, and how to personalize your drawings. It contains 35 unicorn drawings with the unicorns doing different things and shows 12 steps for each on how to draw it. One of the benefits of the kindle version is that kids can click on any item, including any of the 35 drawings, that are in the table of contents and it will appear instantly.
