I would color code the bottles and caps so they don't get mixed. Ask me how I know.

I finally got to stage in my house reno to do my counters. I'd used ep0xy before but none as horrible as this. It didn't spread well. Once combined it got hot enough to burn your fingers and in no time at all the bucket of epoxy was rock hard and unusable. $200.00 goes in the garbage, plus the colors I had bought.now I have to order more and it won't be this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome results

This was my first time try with epoxy. It looks awesome although this is just a 2'x4' of stained plywood 3/4.

I watched a bunch of videos how how to do it on youtube prior to doing this and the result was simply awesome.

The 2x small 32oz bottles were enough to cover 2'x4' (seal and flood coat) and some drips as I did the sides as well.

If its your first time, make sure you do the following for good results. This is countertop epoxy, not casting epoxy and shouldn't be poured more than 1/8 layers at a time. There's science involved in this and one mistake will have big impacts:

- have all the tools ready and rehearse every step before you start
- heat both hardener and resin by putting them in hot water for 10min.
-only use disposable new tools (gloves, 2x measuring cups, mixing container and stick, small mini foam roller)
- do not mix more than 4min
-do not scrape the sides when pouring the mix (it might catch some unproperly mixed material from sides
- after pouring, roll with a foam roaller quickly to even the spread
- look for bubbles once everything is leveled and heat them quickly with a torch/heatgun
- Cover from lint and dust while it dries

Not that I care but the description says "Made in USA" and my pictures clearly show "Made in China" and manufactured for Diyepoxy in Sherbrooke, Qc Canada. Seller might want to fix this ;)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product for counter top!

This was my first time ever using any type of epoxy, and it was super easy to use! It worked perfectly for my bathroom vanity countertop makeover. It mixed well with enamel paint to colour, and spray paint. I was able to achieve the look I wanted without having to get new counter tops.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worked

I am in Canada (Brampton, ON) and this was my first epoxy purchase(well I also bought deep pour as part of same purchase). I was planning to make some charcuterie boards as Christmas gifts. I use this to fillout cracks and some routed out paths.

When used as initial coat to seal everything etc. , it was dry to within 4-5 hours. Pours 1 1.5 cm thick were dry to touch in 12 hours. Pure glass finish. On the board I also added a dye to color it and that also worked out great. After about 24 hours, I used orbital sander to remove excess starting with 40 going to 1200 at which point it was smooth and clear finish again.

I will buy this again.

The product worked well, is actually clear (and not yellow), and came with great detailed instructions that where very helpful for a beginner like me. Only complaint is the cost, quite expensive for the quantity.

I would like to point out the resin does get hot at 2inches or more thickness, so using 3d printed pla mold for something extremely thick is not recommended as the heat will melt the pla, but I did a test one a 1inch cylinder and it was perfect, so I would highly recommend this for any small of thin project

On the instructions you have a 30 min work time, I did practice pours - brush and dirty.

Prep your work area dust free, watch tutorials on YouTube.

I had to break my pour into 2 stages, my large 30' square surface in one. DO the math, on the instructions recommend 5 - 6 ounces per square foot well recommended I would say more like 7-8. Then I did my cupboard section and island.

I had a 1/4 inch square notch trowel and dabbed it with a brush and heated the bubbles.

Happy with the product does what it was designed for.

My practice pours mixing colors? With pigment would breach together turned out fair tho with the brush dabbing, I wanted more defined lines I did a dirty pour same thing the bleached together ( copper / black / and dark red ) no black showed and the red took over and not alot of copper.

Practice pour 1st on 2' surface, I used 10 oz on all 4 practice pours, happiest pour was 1 color. I do recommend 7-8 ounces and repeat do the math, instructions recommend 1 gallon max at a time. I broke it down to litres in back of your mind (US) imp to metric.

It is doable! 1st time customer - 1st time epoxying - do the math and do what you can manage 1st pour was 30 square foot surface I had time but I managed it well

The product itself was easy to use. No odor. However, as you can see from the photos my counter went from white to yellow after putting the epoxy on.. I am extremely disappointed. I now have to spend more money on trying to fix this. I will be reaching out to the supplier and see what they will do for me.
