The media could not be loaded.

I loved this lamp for the 2 mornings I was able to use it, but it just stopped working. You can see in the video that after I turn it on, it flickers and then turns right off. Glad I didn't throw out the box so I can return it.

Also, I don't know if there are 2 different models but I am confused by people talking about the light being cordless or having USB C. This is clearly a model that needs to be plugged in to use.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? )

I was excited to try this device because I thought the folding feature sounded really interesting and I like the idea of a built-in timer. Unfortunately, the light isn't bright enough. The distance to the light for 10,000 LUX (the recommended treatment strength for light therapy) is 4". Even if you could sit with your eyes 4" from this device, it seems unlikely that you'd actually get 10,000 LUX due to the size of the device (you'd be sitting so close to it light from most of the surface area of the lamp would not reach your eyes.

For comparison, I set this light therapy lamp up next to my . This is a much more expensive device, and it provides 10,000 LUX at 25", which I find to be a very reasonable distance to sit from the light for morning light therapy sessions. As you can see in the photos, the JolyWell light therapy box is much less bright. In my opinion, it's not bright enough to be effective. Standing in front of it, it did not feel any brighter than a typical bathroom light.

All in all, I cannot recommend this product for anyone who needs light therapy because it's not bright enough to be effective.
