This is a well written story. THE friction between Juliana and Drew would keep you entertained and flipping the pages ,while holding on to your seat to find out what happens next. THEIR are hurdles to overcome, due to meddling father ,but love well prevail.
If you've been reading this series you may remember Drew from previous stories. There is character overlap but you can still read this as a stand-alone. I did enjoy seeing a peek at Zack's California life, even though the circumstance wasn't great.
Readers finally get an insight into Drew's past and the woman who he regretted letting go of. There was some past manipulation from his father that not only broke them apart but also prevented him from knowing he was a father.
I was frustrated with Juliana as the story went on. I started out sympathetic but as we got deeper into the story and Drew continued to be such a beacon for honesty I couldn't understand Juliana's logic of continuing to put walls up. Especially when she started questioning the past and what she thought had happened. Why not be open and confront him?
The story proves that even with the best intentions our own insecurities can still get in the way. Very happy they managed to find their way in the end.

With his older brothers happily married to the women of their dreams, Drew's always been the one who's lost the most. He lost the one woman who had his heart in the palm of his hand and she slipped away like dust in the wind. Julianna had met Drew when she was interning at his father's company. His father was a cruel man who didn't care about family, he just wanted money and power, to heck with anyone who stood in his way, his son's included. Julianna wanted a life with Drew, but he didn't want her, he'd even told her in a text that he was finished with her via text. Six years later, The patriarch of the family is dead and forgotten, Julianna's company has sent her back to New York for a project. This story is so good, I stayed up to finish it. I loved loved loved this book. It was very well written, the characters had depth and lots of background and the story was absolutely beautiful. I loved how we learned of their past both the wonderful and not so great parts and saw the progression of their present as well as their bright future. The story flowed perfectly with amazing supporting characters who we've all come to know and love. I've really enjoyed this series but this is by far my favourite! I received a free ARC copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
An amazing second chance romance in the Heart of Hope series! It is emotionally deep, engaging, relatable, and well written with angst, steam, secret baby, and more. The characters are likeable; the chemistry between them is undeniable and off the charts. Definitely recommended!

Every book in this series have been amazing, and this one is brilliant, this is Drew and Juliana's story.
Drew is the middle of the Clarke brothers, he was dyslexic as a child and always looking for approval from his father, so when he got the chance for promotion he thought that finally he had impressed, but it was really to keep him and Juliana apart.
Juliana and Drew were an item six years ago, but then she got offered her dream job but it was in London, so she took it as Drew was getting a promotion and seemed he cared more about that than her, little did both of them know who was behind it all.
Juliana returned to New York to get the office back on track and gain back an important client, that was until she bumped into Drew again in the elevator and the love they had all came flooding back, but she was hiding the fact that her twin boys were his.
Follow this story through their ups and downs, love and hate, to see where they end up.
This can be read as a stand a lone but I highly recommend you read all of the series in order so you get to know the history behind all of the other characters.
