I would give five stars if ISRONo offered wider bibs and more colors. I purchased both types of bibs from ISRONO in 2022. the flower shaped one and the lock-shaped one. Both are good. I personally prefer the traditional lock shaped bib because it has more area for absorbency. technically speaking, you can rotate the flower-shaped one for a dry area, when you have one part wet. But I don't want to move the wet area to the back of the neck and give discomfort to the baby, which may also cause a rash at the back. So rotating doesn't work for me. When the area touching the neck is wet, I change the bib. These ISRONO bibs have about 5 or six layers of soft cotton, making it the best for absorbency. These come pre-washed, so there is ZERO shrinking when you wash it. Also, thankfully, they don't have a plastic lining, so they don't roll off the spills or make the rest of the clothing dirty. For fit, they have two different buttons for adjusting neck hole size, but I prefer to have one more button, since my baby is even smaller than their tightest setting! Also, I would have wanted it to be wider. Right now, they are selling it only in one size, meaning I do not have an option for a bigger size. Its size is same as the TXYAON Cotton Baby Drool Bibs.
I bought a bunch of different brand bibs from amazon and walmart for trial sake and found the following benefits or issues.
b) Walmart- in store purchase- 12 pack bibs with plastic lining-assorted colors (I don't remember the brand name). This was the set I purchased as a new mom. These bibs has one layer of cloth and one layer of plastic lining. The edges of the bib are also made of plastic which will rub against the baby-neck and will make rashes because of the friction! So far, this particular bib gets the award for the 'worst bibs in the world'. the bibs act like a plastic sheet. When there is a spill, it will immediately roll-off (zero absorbency). so you will change the clothing of the baby very frequently. I have only used one or two bibs from the 12-pack, only once or twice! Of all the bibs that I purchased, these were the only ones that are thrown in trash.
c) TXYAON Cotton Drool Bibs: Very beautiful and soft. thankfully this doesn't have plastic lining at the back (so no roll-offs). I wish this product had an extra layer of the same material for more absorbency. This product has only two layers of soft material (the same material of your baby's onesie or romper cloth material). I wish they added one or two more layers to this. Also, the part that goes to the back,ie the shoulder part, is about 1 inch. If the child spits-up or drools to the side, this is not catching it.I wish this product was about an inch wider on both sides. Also I wish this product had two more push buttons to adjust the size of the neck. Right now, my baby is only 4 months, and the neck-hole is too big for him. This cannot protect him from neck rashes created from food spillage! three different buttons, placed 1 inch apart, to adjust the neck hole size will do the work. Also more colors and designs making a 10-pack or 12-pack would be great as we would want to differentiate them from each other!
d) Tommie Tippee comfy neck bibs: This is perfect for newborns upto about 4 or 5 months. Good neck protection- perfect fit on neck of very small babies. These have velcro attachment instead of buttons- easier handling. Thankfully, no plastic lining, so no roll-offs! The con is that your baby will soon grow out of this, as this will fit only small babies. they are not offering a bigger size. Also they have two layers of soft cloth. I wish they had one more layer for more absorbency. They are wider than the above two bibs-TXYAON and ISRONO. so they have good coverage and good fit. They look professional too.I wish they had more designs than the existing blue, pink and yellow designs, to add variety.
e) Amazon Essentials -baby 6-Pack Bib Set (bandana shaped): these are very beautiful., Velcro at the back. only 1 layer of cloth. So poor absorbency. Soft material. No plastic lining, but as there is only 1 layer, this material can cause immediate roll-off, even though the roll-off is not as bad as the bibs with a plastic lining. This is good for trips, church, and parties, as this will give the baby a great look, because of the colorful designs. I would not use these for just the purpose of bibs, because of poor absorbency, but love to keep 1 set of six for the fashion part of it!
