Decent shirt for the price.

I really like these shirts, the fabric is quite heavy and warm, and they're put together well. There's some comments on shrinkage so I picked up a couple and washed one right away, wore it for a day, then washed it again. I'm 5' 8", roughly 135-140 and I ordered a medium that fit a little large before the first wash, after it came out of the dryer it shrunk a little over a inch and fit much better. The second wash and dry didn't seem to have any noticeable change in the fit, and the washer and (electric) dryer was set on regular both times.

I found the shirt a bit on the short side. The arms are a bit short also; I'm 5'11". The material is of good quality and well stitched.

Ridiculous Shrinkage

I like the Henley long sleeve shirts so I picked up two of them: black and Heather grey. Fit was perfect when I first put them on. Then I washed the grey one and it shrank considerably. By considerably I mean the sleeves shortened by at least an inch and the rest of the shirt shrank. Cold water wash and delicate cycle on the dryer. Now I’ve just washed it again in cold water and delicate dry cycle and the thing has shrunk even more. Four inches shorter in each sleeve. I think Amazon should do some quality control on its branded items. Terrified to wash the black Henley!

Quality of Fabric downgraded due to SHRIKFLATION

I have bought earlier (2021) the IDENTICAL shirt where the fabric WAS OUTSTANDING, however, the new one which i bought in 2022 has a very low quality fabric. Apparently Quality is changing due to SHRIKFLATION. Also the Shirt 2022 order Shrunk more than the 2021 due to fabric change.

Lesson learnt, you might be lucky with the first order, but not necessarily with the following order.

On another aspect which is not impacted by SHRIKFLATION, the Design and the Finishes are matching to the Amazon Essentials Brand
