Nothing has been resolved from the last book. We're still waiting on the edge of our proverbial seat, with bated breath, to see how everything will work out.

We do find out Marcel's "secret"...

And the situation with Eric, Darlene, and Max was...funny. (Maybe it wasn't supposed to be, but I laughed. Oh, well...)

My curiosity is getting the better of me: Is Sofia a Dormant? Will Kian, Turner and the gang come up with a plan to liberate Igor's compound? If they do, what becomes of Jade and the others?

So many questions! On to the next book for some answers!

This addition to the series had a lot of planning and plotting on how to get into the compound where Jade is, and what to do. Kill them? Kill some, try to coerce others? Kill some, let Jade remain in leadership? Most of the book was taken up talking about different things and ways to bring them about.
Marcel tries to induce Sophia, though no one knows for sure if it can be done. An experimental inducement gets carried out back at the Village. Nothing is resolved at the end, but we are left with lots of things to think about. We still do not know who "Igor" is. I have my own theory -- hopefully we won't be kept waiting too long to find out.
