I got this lamp now for almost 2 weeks and was using it so far every morning at the same time to mimic the natural rhythm of the sun. But first things first, some details of the lamp.
This inexpensive model in a durable, small design that’s also suitable for travel or use anywhere full-size won’t fit. Emits the recommended 10.000 lux of glare-fee white light despite its compact size. It creates no UV so that you get all the benefits of sunlight safely. You can select between 3 color temperatures (where I prefer the warm white), has a stepless brightness level adjustment and has a built-in timer where you can select between 10min, 20min, 30min and 60min. I started as recommended with 10 minutes for the first 3 days and than increased it all the way up to 60 minutes till the end of the first week.
During the use I’ve noticed an improved sleep and was also falling asleep faster. Due to studies, the therapy light mimics the sun, which helps your body and brain to produce more serotonin and melatonin. It helps falling asleep more easily at night which I can confirm and be happier and more energised during the day which also seemed to uplift my mood during the day actually already after the use. I also felt more mental clarity throughout the day.
After the first week I used it for only 10 minutes a day and felt the same positive effects. I also tried it once on my son when he felt a bit low energy in the morning and wanted to stay in bed. After his first 10 minute therapy his mood shifted to the opposite and his energy seemed to be back again. I can highly recommend this product as it does what it claims and is very affordable.
