I have one of the original locks from when Canadian tire would sell them. I have added more trailers to my company and really liked these locks. But was disappointed once the new ones arrived. They seem to be half the weight of the original and the lock seems to be cheaply made as well. I liked this set up because of how hefty they appeared to help prevent thefts. Now I don’t see why I wouldn’t just go with a cheaper priced lock if it’s going to be easy to break off anyway.
