This is the third brand I purchased for my 22" walk behind string trimmer mower. Previously i spent almost as much time replacing the line as i did mowing. A big box store brand lasted literally five minutes. Today I received the Cyclone Trimmer Line and I mowed for almost 3 hours and only one section of line shows any wear! I had almost given up hope that the walk behind trimmer would ever do the job.
How would I best describe the performance? The Mini Machete! Put on your eye protection and hang on, you are in for a treat!

Works well with my 1996 DR Trimmer with line plates. Soaking in water for three days prior makes it a bit more pliable. I cut to 23" lengths and store them in a gallon freezer bag with water until I use them. Not necessary, but the increased pliability makes installation a bit easier. Red is a good color. The broken bits are easy to see in grass making cleanup easier. Some birds use the green bits for nest material. Something disconcerting about plastic bird nests. Made in USA!

I've been buying the OEM cutting line for my cub Cadet trimmer. The biggest problem is the cutting cord seems to wear out after each use. I have a fairly large area and am pretty aggressive with my tremor. The cub Cadet Corps does work quickly.

This product was easy to cut, easy to insert in the cub Cadet trimmer, and seems to last longer and have a more aggressive cutting action

If you need cutting cord, try this. It's cheaper and extremely effective

I bought these for an older Troy-built Trimmer mower. This cord is thick, so at first, I thought it wasn't going to fit in the 'ball' holes. With a bit of wiggling while pushing, all the sudden it popped through the 'out' hole and I was in business.
I started going after several dozen of the 'slightly thicker than a pencil' baby oak trees and this cord cut through them like it was a laser. I stopped after a bit to check how much damage was done to the cord and honestly, there wasn't one fraction of an inch removed from them. I could still easily see the marks I made when snipping the 23" sections off the master roll.
I plan on clearing a LOT of land with this Cyclone cord this Winter. Even so, a 315 foot roll will last me many, many years because it's so strong.

I'm usually too lazy to leave product reviews, but this product is truly exceptional. This is the third or fourth type of .155" line I've used on my Cub Cadet ST100. This stuff cuts much, much better and lasts much, much longer than any other brand I've ever used on any of my line trimmers. I'd estimate that this line lasts 3 times longer than the others and cuts better to boot. I'm going to see if I can find the the same brand in .105" and .095" for my smaller hand-held trimmers. The price is also very good. I hope you have the same luck I'm having with this stuff.
